The Iberia CRJ1000 not as bad but I also put it back on the shelf. The Reno Air MD90 though is awesome and as Richard says the Delta will be nice 👍
Quite shame that these 1/400 scale aircraft makers didn't give love enough for the A300/A310 nowadays, that those models are now stuck with older moulds (even the JC Wings 1/400 A310 have no update since your mould review back in 2021, and they only release the 1/200 scale). Same goes for any other aircraft and liveries in 80s-00s, other than Phoenix Model lately. Speaking of which, I'd love to get the United Saul Bass 757-200 and maybe even Discover A330-300 (i do like the idea of lacking antenna, personally). And speaking about the politics: I'm too not fond for their (the model maker) political stance instead of being neutral, but i've seen that Gemini Jets aren't the only one who does that in the past year, just in a form of just one FB post from two maker (or it's close association with) instead of producing model.
Yes it is a shame. The Aeroclassics A310 is good but I don't know what has happened with the JC version. Yu ModeL has a new A300 coming but haven't seen the final version yet
I think that politics are inserted into everything necessarily. I do accept freedom of speech, so i wouldn't criticize anyone. But as far as model collecting, i dont put much into it. I own an Iran Air, mutiple Cubanas, and several Aeroflots. I may not agree with their policies, but as a model collector, i dont pay attention to it. Personally, i wouldnt waste money on a model that's painted in a political party since its generally bland and pointless. I much rather getting a 737 in Eastern colors over that. I respect your opinion, but politics doesnt need to be in everything. The world has too much of it in our daily lives. I just like to see my collection of models and erase the world.
I'm certainly not saying that people shouldn't buy the models (I have a big Chinese collection after all and plenty of models from the countries you mention) but sometimes I feel it is worth mentioning the politics behind it, especially when it is a govt aircraft as they are relevant. I probably mention politics once for every 300 models so it really isn't a big deal and in this case keeping quiet hardly seemed right in the context.
I think the criticism you receive regarding politics is not about whether or not airliners are political, but rather not wanting to hear your opinion on politics when discussing diecast models. For example at 8:33 , I could not care less the opinion Europeans hold of an American political party. Also, Gemini released the Obama 757 in 2008 - I’d be curious to see you rank that one.
Some opinions are just the reality mate. There's no denying the Russian govt is bad, Equatorial Guinea is an awful regime and Trump is a horrid human being (and a criminal) with no values, who has undermined the US institutions that run your nation. Those are unarguable truths. My view on Obama is that he wasn't a great President, but he wasn't a bad person. I didn't realise that model existed so thanks for that. I suspect I'd have given it a workhorse as political aircraft are pretty boring in general. I note that the official photo from GJ of that model says they weren't Obama supporters which is funny! Maybe they will make the Harris/Waltz plane? It won't score well either

I have the iberia crj 1000 and the landingear is to high to thin and the weels are to small.
