Selda, alongside her incredible talent, is a unique artist known for creating protest songs on social issues and standing firm with all her answers. Her remarkable ability to stand tall in the face of societal issues sets her apart as an exceptional artist.
she's the most prominent (and still active) female artist of 70s Anatolian rock genre. she plays bağlama and guitar in different ways and she has a really unique voice. when i listen to her, i feel like she has no boundaries vocally. of course she has, but she gives the audience that feeling. i strongly recommend you to check out her records from 70s. and also, she has always written songs about social issues.
