Sorry for the mispronunciation on Terre Haute and on Zoutte everyone, I thought those sounded right. Now I know for next time👍 again sorry for the inconvenience.
I was at Selinsgrove in 2016 when Jake Waters had a scary 305 wreck. He was probably in the car while it was on fire for a little over a minute. Thankfully he survived (while severely burned) and has made an awesome return to racing. Never was able to find any footage of the wreck online, but it was probably the most scared I ever was for a driver’s safety.
I've seen several of this channel's vids and not that familiar with sprint cars, there's been a handful of videos of guys getting caught in massive fuel fires...Do they not have self sealing fuel tanks?
@@extragoogleaccount6061 They do have fuel cells like most race cars do. The big difference is that it is exposed and in the rear of the car. Additionally, the fuel cap is located directly above the fuel cell. During some extreme crashes, the fuel cell can rupture and spill or the cap can pop off. For most other vehicles they are located behind a bumper or towards the car’s center which makes it harder for a rupture to occur.
A couple crashes you could do are Robert ballous flip at Knoxville or daison pursleys flip at Knoxville from the corn belt crash, those were pretty big
Kokomo lol I traveled thousands of miles to get there , needless to say that who I think was the owner had a bad asshole attitude towards me and my crew which led me to telling him off. Packed up and we hauled ass.
saw the Bill Wilburn crash in person. Scaiest wreak I'd ever seen. It looked like he got knocked out on impact and his foot was still on the throttle. thought he was dead when it happened, glad he was more or less okay.
I was at the Nationals in 2001 when Wilburn crashed. I was in the stands at the exit from turn 2 so, I had a good view as the crash was between 1 & 2. It appeared that Wilburm was unconscious and that his foot was on the throttle.
Have a look at Cameron Gessners accident at the Australian open at Archerfield speedway circa 1998 or 1999, it was a wild stuck throttle for a good 30 to 40 seconds.
I have a few but not sure if they would make the cut, so I'll just give you the worst by far that I found th-cam.com/video/jzHPCgpf-2c/w-d-xo.html "Mayberry Huge flip at Big Diamond 1994"

For part four you should include Mitchell Moles’ crash at Kokomo where he got pushed into the fence and flipped
