i have a video saved of an entire compilation of crashes from my local track in Delmar Delaware. theres some pretty wild crashes in there. very first wreck on the video is a sprint car flipping almost the entire length of the front stretch and you can see the fuel cell fly into the stands. As they show him getting out you can see my dads (one of the saftey crew members at the time) bald head on the other side of the catch fence looking for the fuel cell

I was at this race, it got eerily quiet after the crash. I actually have a Channel Lock hood from his days of driving the car.

Saw it from afar on the front stretch. My first time at the nationals and knoxville. Was quite the welcome. To this day my dad still thinks he passed because thats what everyone was saying.

Long shot but this video made me think about it, again. At the time I remember why New Egypt cancelled their race, and obviously the rain outs at the end of the season and those handful of dates that couldn't be made up, but I never saw why Outlaw Motor Speedway's 2nd date (September) disappeared off the schedule or what happened with Tri-State that had their original date postponed because of construction and it was rescheduled and on the NST schedule for October then one day it wasn't there and I don't remember why? Can anyone remember why/what happened with those two OK races being cancelled?

I've seen some crazy stuff at 34. This wreck, A 4 cylinder roll of maybe 10 flips that stopped the show for maybe an hour and a 305 sprint actually rail sliding along the top of that wall where the tire no longer exists which is where that wreck got horrible. the car though slid up the wall and down the grass embankment while not flipping at all.

I would recommend Kevin Gobriche’s crash(fatal), Justin Owen’s at Lawrenceburg(fatal) wouldn’t recommend as much but BC’s wreck (Bryan Clauson)
