Sorry, i totally forgot to add captions but i wasnt happy with the final clean at the end, so i went another round with a blue detergent called double clean. Its an extra strong detergent for stubborn stains. I hope you enjoyed the video.
I mean it looks amazing, I could tell there was still some staining and figured you saw it too! I was curious about the blue powder glad you clarified!!!
Do you use hot or cold water?
That answered my question.
That blue powder was like a new challenger appearing!
Normally get to the vacuum step and think "Ahhh we're nearly done" but then out comes this extra level of cleaning!
Time to face the facts people. Our insane fascination with these videos and the color of the water after every blast,scrape and pour of the wet vac is troubling. Ever wonder what the definition of O.C.D is? Now you know!!!.....

I've gone down that rabbit hole of watching many other channels doing rug cleaning and to me none compare to Mountain Rug Cleaning. Thanks for the wonderful relaxing videos.
I think it’s the best because of the dirt renoylds with eye balls and R2 clean2. And he squeegees the water in perfect lines and has good sound
I used to watch a Russian guy clean rugs and it aggravated me so badly how he was rinsing the rugs and it was no longer relaxing for me. Then I found mountain rug cleaning on TikTok and It’s the only channel I’ll watch.
I’ve followed a lot of other channels after finding this one and some are good but not as good as this one. Their videos are too long, only one camera angle and they move the scrubber around randomly.
How many pounds of dirt did you take out of this rug, it must have been several

After a month and a half of careful research in what to use and do, as well as a hefty bit of physical labor, i am infinitely pleased to report that I got the rugs clean, mostly stain free, and now sitting in my home for hopefully many years to come. Wow. This rug really did transform. It popped more and more as it was cleaned. I would have loved to see more overhead shots and more floor squeegees. Yup, I prefer the floor squeegee over the water spray, especially when there is lots of dirt on the floor 😊. I look forward to seeing more! Thank you.

At the end of the video, I wish you would show stages of completion instead of just the before and after...it would be interesting to see the difference after each stage of cleaning.
I absolutely love your videos! It’s almost like Christmas with these rugs. They are so dirty to where you can’t see the patterns until they are clean. It’s amazing how such cute, charming, and elegant rugs are discarded by people instead of them donating them. Bless you for giving these rugs a second chance at life ❤
Mountain Rug Cleaning videos have a strangely calming hypnotic effect on me. When I feel anxious I put these on and I can say - “yes, it is but only dirt on the carpet of my mind. And this stress will be washed away by my mental Dirt Reynolds.” Then the clouds pass. And all is right with the world.

I absolutely enjoy your videos! Your rug cleaning videos have helped me tremendously in getting through the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy which have been really tough with pregnancy related insomnia. These videos are calming and relaxing as well as satisfying to watch which have helped me keep my sanity on rough nights when I don't fall asleep until 5 am. I’m curious as to where you keep finding these rugs? I wouldn’t have thought rugs in this condition would be easy to fine. Keep them coming! I love these videos!
it's surprisingly common for someone to toss a well worn rug outside after a big spill or a pet has an accident, but a lot of those folks tossing those rugs don't always know they can have them cleaned lol
Everybody I know who buys new rugs or carpets for whatever reason takes their old ones to the council rubbish tip to dispose of them. There's a huge skip especially for rugs and carpets, it's always full to overflowing!
They make them dirty for the video.
James often finds rugs in the garbage, landfill, or people call and have him get them. Some are from workshops some discarded outside people's homes to rot. Most of these rugs either get donated to be resold (if they are really nice) or donated to shelters for pets.
You should include a phase 1, 2, 3, etc. during the before and after to see how the rug cleaning progresses. It's often just a vague, dark patch and then clean lol it would be cool to see how much cleaner it gets after each step. Great stuff tho!
Another lively rug, both in appearance and behavior, but Dirt Reynolds has its number! I like try to guess what decade a rug was made, and I would put this one in the late 1990s to early 2000s,when the 1970s were revisited.
Fantastic job as always! I wonder what this cute rug must have been through to wind up in such a poor state. It was probably collecting dirt since the '90s!
