Jeff, I have this exact same jacket. Love the way it looks but I’m probably going to sell mine as the large is just a little too tight in the chest and torso. I’m guessing an XL in this model would be perfect. Keep up the good work!!
This really is an amazing jacket! My large had stretches out a b it and feels much more comfortable now. If I remember correctly, these will be restocked this fall.
Cool jacket just wanted to point out this jacket is not overdyed. The warp yarns are dyed indigo and the weft yarns are dyed black then it is woven together. Iron heart does do some overdyed jackets though.
In editing I realized I said over dyed a few times. That was me miss speaking. I was all over the site before filming and I looked at some IH over dyed jackets.
For a very similar colorway, try 3Sixteen. For more affordable high quality selvedge denim try Brave Star Selvedge. They just did a restock of many of their jackets. The Gauntlet is a nice deep indigo and awesome jacket.
I recomend snag it if you have the means, snag one! I am not normally a Type II guy, but I like Pure Blue Japans version. It has the pockets in the location of a type III. I may have to pick on up next year after the Redline Rally concludes.
@jeffgrantMEDIA lol, the chest pockets are why I want the PBJ also. I prefer chest pockets over belly pockets. I'm like you. I'm gonna have to wait until next fall. I've spent a ton of money in the last 6 months on Iron Heart, Freenote, Indigofera, White's, Red Wing, and I can keep going. Also, it's 80 degrees right now. Jacket season is over for me.
@@dark_gravity_edc I hear ya! I have acquired a lot already this year. I need to pay off some bills and wear out some jeans. Then it could be time for some boots and jeans. I’ve got a jacket waiting in the wings to wear for the Rally. And…. I may have done a thing and picked up a Tellason chore coat from eNay that arrives tomorrow.
