Thanks for sharing this LOVELY week with us! Cappadocia is one of my most favorite places on earth... hope I can get back on day. We stayed in one of those cave hotels, and the owner took us on a 9 mile hike through Love Valley and Red Valley. Lots of dwellings and churches. SO surreal. Anyways... thanks for taking me back!
Ah wow that sounds amazing! As great as wild camping was (and we'd definitely go back and do it all again!) I can imagine those cave hotels are especially luxurious and special. And you never can beat the intimate connections with locals who share their knowledge with you! Thanks for sharing your memories with us 🧡
@@courtsandmeeks oh yes, it was wonderful... and I forgot to mention, we also experienced a real Turkish bath at a Haman recommended by a local we met at dinner. The Turkish people are truly the most gracious and wonderful people !!!
Waking up with that noise is somehow beautiful & frustrating 😅 We can't wait to get there ourselves and hopefully this time we see the balloons flying from the ground 😀that donkey is adorable!! You get to find them everywhere huh! Great Airbnb experience looked so magical!! We wanna do an experience there it's on our plans as well hoping Holly lets us do it 😄Another great vlog!! We loved it!! Can't wait for the next ones!! 😀 Enjoy wherever you are 😍
What a spectacular and special vlog that was. I really was lost in your journey. And what brilliant hosts you are, the reflective comments, the room you allow for the pictures to unfold is perfect. Well done. 👋
Ah wow Geoff, that is such a wonderful comment. Thank you so much 🧡 your kind words mean a lot to us as we worked really hard on this video and are really proud of how it came together
Great video, so jealous as Turkey is my favourite country to visit. I don't think I could ever get bored there which often I have found elsewhere. Glad to see no more issues with the van and she is looking great!
Thanks Ersel! We had the most amazing 5 months in Turkey and were so sad to be nearing the end of our time there in this video. We're actually now in Serbia and only 1 more Turkey vlog left. We miss çay and Turkish breakfasts along with all the kind and friendly people so much already! We hope you are well?
Wow Thomas that just put the biggest smile on our faces! You know, we felt the most proud of this one of all our videos to date so to know you think the same is amazing. Thank you! 🧡
Thank you - we really wanted to explore a bit off the beaten path whilst we were there and we definitely felt like we achieved that so really happy that came across in the video!
Thanks Terry - we're so proud of the shots of the balloons so thank you for commenting. We were so lucky with the weather and got to see them everyday we were there!
hi guys another great video, those balloon's were spectacular and scenery just wonderful. just love what you both are doing. take care and stay safe xxPat
Here i am again, the video was absolutely magnificent you are clever pair of buggers. I am amazed how Turkey has developed over the years. ie., 4 highway what and no buses upended along the way. Made me think of a military parade along the main street of Iskenderin and the sight to behold us after the tanks had passed by. Talk about corrugated iron and the look on five young kiwis faces. 🤣 i
Aww thanks Val! We are really proud of this video, it's our favourite one ever. And so many great memories to look back on. It really does sound like Turkey has changed a lot since your time there! They have big motorways now but they still aren't the best quality 😂
Hari OM Oh my - this was just such a peaceful and beautiful visit! You both look blissed out and properly relaxed with having taken the time to stay in Cappadocia. ...now to see where you race off to next! YAMxx
Thanks Yam! Peaceful is about right - totally not what we were expecting of one of the worlds top bucket list destinations but we were very happily surprised by how calm and relaxed it was. A hikers and history buffs paradise! Hope you're keeping well! 🧡
Hi Courts Meeks, what a beautiful site to watch them hot air balloon’s fantastic how many people are in the big basket must be over 10 people,Courts you made me laugh when you said you gone commando lol then washing you knickers made me laugh got to get thr skiddies out yours or Meeks lol you sure have had a good time in Turkey 🇹🇷 that guy just brought you a bottle of what ever it was ,but you both seamed to enjoy it lol always better when it’s free lol hehe 😜,got to say I have never seen so many balloons 🎈 look fantastic,,I guess that must be nice on your bikes so much to see and do ,really enjoyed this blog very interesting so much history so much information so till next time take care keep yourself safe,John 🌹🇬🇧☝️👏😂😜🙏👀🥰😎😎🤩🇹🇷🇹🇷😋🤣🤣
Hey John! As always, thanks so much for the lovely detailed comment. You always notice the small details and it's really special for us. I think the balloons hold around 20-25 people per basket and would you believe they cost around €150-€200 per person for a 45 min flight!! So expensive hence why we stayed down on ground level and then took the drone up 😂 much cheaper!! The free "champagne" was more like non alcoholic pop tbh but we still enjoyed the fizzy experience. Thanks for supporting our channel and content. It means so much to us!
@@courtsandmeeks got to say You write such a lovely reply, that also means so much to me you two are such lovely people, not like some you comment on them don’t have the decency to reply, Take care x
@@johnallen148 aww John that's very sweet! The whole reason we create videos and share them online is to interact with people like yourself and share memories that we can look back on in years to come. We know it takes you a long time to write your comments and a lot of thought goes into them so we're very grateful for that! 🧡🙌
Amazing views shots and commentary, thank you. The balloons looked cool too. Have you been up in one? I have, but over Aylesbury 😂, it looked much cooler there. I’m not sure about the yoga, but the bike ride looked fun, and the atv’s. Great stuff!!
Ah cheers Carl! No we've never been up in one and these were €180 pp to be in a basket with 20 other people so we opted to keep our feet on the ground and take the drone up instead 😂
Well that was spectacular 10/10 for this Vlog, you never fail to impress me with your amazing footage. The Balloons were awesome, what a sight to behold- you are very lucky!! Had a little chuckle watching Courts sliding down the path, I thought you were going to take a tumble for a minute 😂. The drone footage was brilliant to watch. I love it when you use the drone to show you driving along (love to know how you do this). Looking forward to next time, stay safe - you two are my favourites- all the best 🚌👍🌱❤️🎈🥂
Aww thanks Steve!! Means a lot that you and so many other people have left us lovely comments saying you enjoyed it. The balloons were incredible - such a spectacle! It was quite surprising to us all that I didn't fall over when sliding down that path tbh! 😜 I'm normally very clumsy. We're glad the drone footage paid off too - typically when we drive on quiet roads we find a layby, Meeks will launch the drone and then get back in to drive and I control it out the window 😂 it's very glamorous!
Cappadocia is one of the most amazing places in turkey if not the world . . Ive bn there a few times and once my gf organised for us to go up in a baloon and i surprisdd her by bookkng into a cave hotel . Both were awesome . Ah wow Ian it sounds like you have some amazing memories from your trips there! Thank you so much for sharing those memories with us. We were awake at 4:15am when the balloons were being pumped up next to us. We decided not to go in the balloon ride ourselves as we had such a good view from the van and then we took the drone up. I think it was €180 pp and then 20 people in a basket!! Was it the same when you last went? I think next time we go we will consider one of those lush cave hotels for a different experience. They looked absolutely gorgeous!
Oh yes very much 😜 fascinating to learn that they are shaped like that because it used to be a huge lake and the tops of the rocks would have stuck out of the water and everything further down would have eroded. Blows my mind!
Such an amazing part of the world. Thanks for sharing.
It truly is stunning! Thanks for watching
Loving this travel in Turkey! I think you are both enjoying Turkey. This video was a amazing! Thanks for taking us along. 😘

Ah yay thanks for watching straight away tonight! We've watched it over and over too - such a cool place!
Obviously no shortage of LPG in Turkey. I feel pleased for you both to witness that spectacle first hand.
😂😂 I'm not sure what type of gas they use actually but no you're probably not wrong. Thanks for watching!

What a great video - and a nice twist on the usual touristy-feel type of videos on Cappadocia! The caves in Love Valley and Red Valley looked amazing!
Thank you - we really wanted to explore a bit off the beaten path whilst we were there and we definitely felt like we achieved that so really happy that came across in the video!
Loved the juxtaposition of hotair balloons over Cappadocia and washing your pants. True vanlife! Thanks for this great video.❤
