Thank you for busting that dam. It looked like a lot of current there. The trees say thank you too. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Thanks!

Hey! Just to live in Manor Park for a while😅
Greetings from Auckland, New Zealand
Hello!
Another no-way dam collapse as this dam too was constructed so well. Large sticks, branches w/leaves and packed mud. Nice job deconstructing this one! 👍😊
Thank you!
Amazing job. So many large limbs and sticks. Glad you got it safely torn apart!
Thanks!
Boy that dam was tuff. So much water. Kudos
You did Mother Nature a real nice favor in draining the surrounding forest and land there allowing it to dry up some. I hope the land owners in your videos are grateful to you!! I know we the viewers are for your sharing.
They don't know I was here :D
There must be another blockage down stream. I’d thought the water would have dropped more. Great vid as usual. Thanks
Thanks. There are many grass downstream. It slows the water.
Wow that’s a massive beaver pond. The water table must also be high so get rid of the dam. 🇨🇦
Thank you for the dismantling today. Excellent water flow. See you on the next, Mantas! 🇱🇹🙂👍🇺🇸
Thank you!
Brilliant job, we can tell it's not an easy job for you. For you to do it in 40 minutes is amazing. Well done.
I started watching because I was interested in your country. Now I keep watching because I am interested.
The same goes for my country The Netherlands. In the summer at the seaside it is colder than at the east side, where I live. In the winter here in the east side it is colder than it is at the sea side.
Thanks for info!
Hello from Marion North Carolina
Hello!
@@Kenislovas I. Subscribe to your videos and love to know where you are from
What would these land owners do if it wasn't for you coming around and saving their property? They need to pay you big money for doing this.
That's one of my questions: if he getting paid for this, or is this a hobby where he removes for free beaver dams that are impacting farms houses etc?
I am getting paid only from ads :)
They don't care :)
It is going to take a long time to drain that forest area. That water would have ruined a lot of good timber and killed the little trees also. The Landowner definitely owns you a thanks for clearing that dam. Now, if you just liked nighttime wild hog hunting, you could offer him full-time service. Do the farmers kill the destructive hogs at night like here in America? They kill so many here they just bury them.
As always Roberta did her great job of editing the video.
I watch all different dam removal videos to see the difference in how different people open them ❤😮😊
Hello from Seattle WA 👊🦊👍
Hey!
I worked nearly a decade of my adult life in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (road and bridge engineering and construction) as late as the 20-teens some county road commissions kept dynamite on hand (and had a few employees liscenced to use it) to address beaver dams. Trapping is only allowed in winter.
I worked with a guy 4-5 years younger than me who grew up on a farm up there. When he was 14 +/- beavers built a dam on state timberland which had started to flood one of their hayfields. His father called the DNR (department of natural resources) to ask if he could go tear the dam out. The DNR said that they would send a couple of foresters out the next day, which they did. The high water can kill valuable trees. My coworker was told by his father to show them where the dam was as he had to go pick up a semi load of feed.
The foresters were led to the dam and returned with dynamite and tools they set two charges of 15-20 sticks some distance apart and breached the top of the dam near to each. Then ran the detonator wires around a quarter mile back to their truck. One lit a smoke and the other refilled his coffee and they started shooting the shit. After a while my coworker (a 14 year old boy who wants to see the kaboom) asks when they are going to blow the dam, they say not yet. 20 minutes later one says to the other “they should be back fixing the dam now” connected the wires to the detonator and up it goes. They explained that by waiting 40 minutes or so they would get the beavers who returned to repair the dam. This was the 90s and DNR foresters were and largely remain timber cruisers, not the earth muffins that populate other parts of the agency.
Bet it quickly gets cold standing in the water
Not really:)
The way the area downstream flooded once you broke open the dam suggests there is another blockage downstream. Looks like this area could keep you busy for a while!
A lot of grass downstream. that's why ;)
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Contemporary is new to me.
Where you are in your country looks very much like where I am. I am in Wisconsin, USA. Thank you for the videos. Stay safe!
Thanks! I am in Lithuania:)
@@Kenislovas very beautiful!!
I surely hope these land owners are grateful for your hard persistence work on their behalf!
They don't know who made it! :D
I like the % of Fast Forward you used starting @ 4:12. It was just the right amount to speed it up, and still enjoy your work.
Thanks!
Hey Mantas
Enjoyed, thank you 🦘❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!
This one was impossible to collapse by only weaken the structure. Still amazing to watch🤓
Do not question life. Live it to the fullest.
Mantas great video, would like to see the area a few days later after all the water has dropped to see what it looks like, even if you do a drone fly over. David B.,Utah USA. 🤗🤗❤❤❤.
Hey! Thank you!
Always work to keep up.
Hello from Denmark 🇩🇰
Hello!
In the winter if you get a lot of snow, you should do snow blowing videos if you have a snowblower.
Hi, No I don't have snow blowing machine :D
Camera placement #2 from 6:16 to 11:12 was absolutely perfect, then you moved closer, still OK though. #1 camera was Good. Good Work, Have Fun, Be Safe
Thank you Jim!
Suggestion for other videos ideas. Maybe do a time lapse from each camera that you have setup. Maybe run it so it is 5mins long fast forward. You have a couple of cameras setup that is another couple of videos you could post per beaver dam. Anyway keep up the good work. Love your videos.
Thank you!
Brilliant video as usual keep up the great work
Thank you!
Do you get any recognition for what you do,..because to me you should,..you are doing a great service for many people,..I commend you for what you do,..I believe you get a lot of self satisfaction for what you are doing, because you are helping in so many ways,..
Thank you for your hard work you do🌺🍍🏝️✝️🫶🏽
You are welcome!
Another fine job of making angry beavers 🦫😂🤣😆👍
Thanks!;)
I cannot believe that working in that cold water and temperature. Thank you for the content but please be safe and careful. Don't get sick.
More you work - more you healthy :)
Lovely work 🎉🎉🎉
Marvellous 🤩
Thanks!
A lot of what you are doing there is just moving the blockage further downstream, that's why it's not draining as quick as it should.
Great job 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
Awesome video ❤😊
Thanks!
Very good job.
Thanks!
I would suggest that in the future, you add a trailer with an
ATV and a gas powered woodchipper that is pulled by the ATV. Then you could get to off-road locations quickly and
you'll have the wood chipper to clean up the debris.
He has a young family and simply cannot afford such equipment. You are talking about a large outlay, plus all the running costs.
@clivereynolds6633
First, there is nothing wrong with used equipment.
Second, you buy with time payments that you can afford.
Third, that is how you grow your business. You work
smarter not HARDER.
It looks like something a bit further downstream needs clearing.
There was a lot of grass downstream.
❤❤😊
I don’t know if the landowners or farmers help you out,I’m sure your family does.you maybe need to get them together and ask if they could help you out in a monetary way or help pay for gas and misc things.I do not know what the situation is locally with all things going on.but might not hurt to try, just saying, that’s my two cents worth.only my opinion.great video as always keep doing what your doing.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Discussing financial reward is a big NO NO. You never know who is jealous and inform the tax man.
Looks great😊😊
Thanks!
why do you drain their homes just before winter? It doesn't give them time to find a new home.
Can you show us what they look like after draining for a day. Do they need cleared more? 😊😊
It's not always possible to visit the same place.
Why don't you use some kind of a backhoe with a grapple? (money) I'm sure you know, the beavers will just rebuild and rebuild their dam home. It is nice what you do to help people out.
great job
Thanks!
I keep think you could use one of those small Chinese diggers..
He cannot afford such machinery. He is making his way in life and has a young family.
Интересно!
Them B cause so much damage
Are you in Sweden???
Just a little guess because of the blue and yellow colors your clothes have in this upload.. However, you're a very good with the camera and editing..
Lithuania
Cool video.
Thanks!
Do you ever find that another dam downstream stops the flow of water from the one you broke?
Yes sure! But usually I am starting to remove dams from the smallest one :)
All dams are interesting. You could have made a short out of it
In the Winter, when I will not be able to open dams. :)
Once you weaken the lower part of the front side, do you ever switch to the upstream side to dislodge some of the mud thar is packed in down lower? Seems that could weaken it for a rollover.
Basically upstream is quite deep. I've never did that. But some time I walked upstream near the dam to weaken it;)
After a while of clearing some of the same places.. do the beavers ever give up and move on? Or is it just something that has to be done every so often?
Some of them yes! Not all of course.
What kind of gloves do you use in these temperatures to be in the water?

There is a link :)
still very beautiful. it is around 0 Celsius?
It’s a bit more. But right now yes.
The 🦫dam pool at the beginning of time is shaped like a stomach🤓
🦫hyperacidity?😳🙄😏
Great comment.
IDK :D
Do you have wild pigs in the Baltic countries like we do in many places of America?
We have hogs here :)
Will you take a break for winter or will you still be able to make videos?
Hi! IDK if temperature will not be below -5c then yes;)
@Kenislovas i sure hope you can. I just love watching, but don't put yourself in danger for a video. Your country is just so pretty.
@@cheriecourville9430 Thank you!🙏
Have you ever thought about using the beavers ? There fur was great for making top hats 🎩 and you can eat there tails 😜
Nope :D
Are the cracking noises from branches in the dam breaking as support is removed?
Hmm.. all the dam was removed.
How do you find do many dams? Do you keep going to same spots after they rebuild?
I've reopened same dams several times. Also I know over 100 different dams :)
If you drive your car over dry brush or dry grass. Remember the catalytic converter is very hot and will start a fire. Only park your car where it is safe and will not start a fire with your exhaust system.
Utter nonsense
Dont stand in d current or u will loose ur footing😢😢
It's ok :) I know when it's safe to do it :)
@@Kenislovas Just be careful and dont be over confident
I was wondering, have you ever been chased by Beavers? 😅
Nope mate.
I've wondered that also. I bet they can be mean
Their teeth must be like razor blades@@bonnielowery1759
You won’t open the right side will you? You pay attention to the center and the left but leave the right side barely touched.
I think there is blockage down stream.
A lot of grass downstream. that's why ;)
Is there any fish in that water? 🐠
Small species 2-3 centimetres of length :)
Why people dig you is because you are who are.
Where are you located

@@KenislovasHello from Ontario, Canada, the Home of the Beaver.
At what point do you think an axe could clear out a dam faster than a rake lol
Booooooo‼️that is illegal here‼️
