    Your video was very helpful. I have a Cricut Explore Air 2. I don't have rice paper setting on my machine's list so I used the Washi Tape setting and it worked great and gave it a kiss cut so it cut through the first layer with the image but not through the bottom paper layer and was easy to separate the two.

    I’m not understanding what people mean when they say that the mask doesn’t have to be used if the picture is one piece. What that means to me is that you would weed the picture and set it on the short then press. Yet I see people still put another layer of something, possibly the “mask”, when finally using the heat press. So in my perspective it sounds like you need a mask period and if not the. When you press the HTV it will melt without the “mask”. Is this true or not? Also when you printed on the printable HTV did you use regular printer ink or sublimation ink? I get mixed info unless it’s either about what ink to use. Some say use sublimation ink while in your video it looked like you used regular printer ink. Is it one or the other or is it both?

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is done using inkjet ink. And the mask you see people use it parchment paper or a Teflon sheet that is not a mask but something that should be used with all htv products to protect the press from the htv

      I used Avery tonight on a T-shirt for my daughters birthday and it worked great. However! You do need to either use the Cricut to do a print and cut or if you're doing it by hand, cut against the image as close as you can or you will see a lot of adhesive. But it was easy to use. I have an EasyPress 2, so I did 400 degrees for 30 seconds with the press directly over the transfer sheet. Do not use a cover sheet, it needs direct contact with the press. I do want to try Starcraft at some point though.
