  • This 2006 Porsche Cayenne was turned into an offroad monster and is still cheaper than a Jeep. In this video we walk you through what was done and how much more affordable this is than a comparable Jeep Wrangler.
You can check out his website www.corcars.com/ if interested in purchasing this car and many others

Here’s the difference on the Titanuim vs a regular cayenne S
HID headlights (usually found on turbos)
    Aero package skirts
    Special Titanuim color exterior trim
Only 955 with two tone interior (grey/black tan/black)
    4.10 diff gearing vs 3.57 found in a S
Special 19x9 two tone wheels (BBS made)
And a rare red color only for the gen 1 cayennes (02-10)
    Turbo S exhaust tips
I’ll be posting some videos of how much mine has become a crazy off-roader soon!

Pretty awesome car cayenne S titanium had a regular cayenne bumper though not a turbo bumper. It’s an interior package with titanium color exterior trim, sometimes that came with slight aero stuff and HID headlights. You can also find them with air suspension.

On Vancouver Island and will be doing this on my 04 Cayenne S V8 (120K kms) and want to do a Dakar 911 wrap. Do you know if Corcars will actually do this work (lift, bush bar, lights etc)?

Have you tried to remove the spots on the seatbelt straps or is that reflections? Beautiful Porsche! Wish my wife would say okay.

Haha thanks so much. It really is a beautiful car. I’m not sure about the straps on the seatbelt, I’ll ask Cor but if they are spots they should be removable

Had to laugh at German reliability comments with these cars..let’s talk Toyota if you’re serious about reliability.

I've had my 955 for 6.5 years and have done nothing but oil, filters, brakes and tires.... simply nothing has broken on an almost 20 year old vehicle!!

Toyota is renowned for reliability, but unfortunately that comes at the cost of lower power & torque levels. A modern turbo diesel V8 landcruiser may get you across the Sahara desert, but it’s total stock power & toque output is easily matched &/or exceeded by most VAG 6 cylinder SUV’s. Adding in the fact that Toyota holds its value so well & I could buy 3-4 equivalent VAG products of the same age for 1 Toyota. I’ll pass thanks.

Such a capable car and affordable now . With the high tech German Porsche dynamics , diff locks , high and low range transfer box standard on 955 and V8 engine power they are so affordable now and even if you have to spend 10- 20 -30 k to bring up to modern standard its better much and cheaper than a brand new Jeep. The paint/ duco quality on a 2005 Porsche cayenne is same as it came out of showroom 16 years ago . Try a 16-18 year old jeep see how they deteriorate , the paint is almost gone and mechanical body corrosion is very visible. Globally Porsche have realised this is a great vehicle and is now continuing in supporting 955 with many more parts and recently a replaceable centre radio nav cluster. Looking good and much more affordable and stylish compared to say what's on offer from Jeep . Chrysler Jeep have increased their prices globally , by 20-30% they are not worth it any more and unless you can afford the very expensive Jeep V8 the rest only run the older underpowered V6 . The new V8 jeep is only available in USA now .

AWD not 4WD...that's why nobody bothers to kit these out and properly offroad them. Looks cool though, granted :)

Your comparing what? Serious off roading ? With any ifs you’ll have issues up front. These are very capable cars.

While your not wrong its more of a full time 4wd system with low range transfer case.

    • @mgbode1259
      @mgbode1259 ปีที่แล้ว

Not to mention the offroad package ones came with a rear locker all s models have a transfercase locker for a 50/50 split they also have a electronic system to put power to the wheels which have traction and applies the breaks to the wheels spinning without traction to send the power to the others
