@@runitbackbtch6829 they usually reattach after cutting locs, no combing out and reusing the dead hair lol. In my damn near 10 year journey I’ve never once heard of someone combing out their locs, and then using the dead hair to start new locs….. That’s nuts and that’s news to me 🤣🤣🤣

@@Xous_ nah- I spent hours combing out her nasty free form dreads so she could style her hair again. Her hair was thick and healthy, and she decided to chop it all off less then a week later and dye it blue.
I wasn't paid for it, it smelled, and she didn't even appreciate it.
Now she has a buzzcut and looks like a thumb.

I was gonna say u probably helped her decide that cutting it is what she wanted. people's minds can always change. my mom helped take my dreads down and i had different styles for months and now i have dreads again.

Never take your dreads out like this guys!! Lots of water and conditioner will reduce the amount of hair that comes out and please take your time. Never rush!! Patience is well needed through a process such as this one✨💕.

Not true mine came out easier using argon oil instead of water and conditioner
@joshuagonzales8451 and you did it the EXACT, CORRECT way!!!! Our hair is weaker when WET, so, oil is the way to go to detangle dry hair! Great job to you!!!

I'm kinda confused I thought locs was more then fashion, locs shouldn't be handled in that manner, I feel like if you can do that to your locs probably shouldn't have them to being with...to me locs are a very serious thing being your true self the way God bless our hair to be in its natural state.
