For once Ticket is right.. Jokic should get the same treatment like plenty of stars who get criticized
I actually agree with ticket here. If any other superstar can get criticized Jokic should too
that's ass backwards. time to make it right instead of making it even. we should not be criticizing superstars JUST because they lost. that's dumb and always has been.
@@thetrib1 you can’t change the grading scale. But put him on the same level of the greats. A lot of People already got him in top 10 all time he has to be held to the same standards of the other.
Yes we hold Jokic in the same standards as we do with other greats? Yes, but should we? No because you can't just criticize a superstar for losing a series especially if they hooped better than they should've.

The real reason the nuggets lost is because the wolves are better. We talk about the nuggets missing open shots but the wolves missed alot of open shots when the nuggets won 3 straight.

Jokic’s defense is absolutely horrendous, If Jokic was even decent on defense they would have won that game, it’s crazy how people kept talking about how the gap between him and the rest of the league was so big when in reality he’s not even better than Giannis.
People don’t realize a two way player will always be greater than an offensive player when the offensive gap is wayyy smaller than the defensive gap.

Jokic is an all time great, but this series makes it obvious that we definitely need to pump the breaks on the "Top 10 all time" convos for now. As of now, Magic, Duncan, Kobe, Bird, Curry, etc in the top 5-12 CLEAR Jokic all time.

Jokic should get criticized for blowing a 20 point lead and not getting it done and we talk about him as a top 20 player all time and his lack of defense played a part but that doesn’t change the fact the nuggets 3rd leading scorer was MPJ who went 3/12 for 7 points

Here’s the thing. Jokic does deserve criticism because at the end of the day. The Nuggets should’ve won game 7. But the thing with all the other all time greats. With the exception of Dirk and Hakeem. All the other ones had at least an all star or someone who has made an all nba or all defensive team. Jokic doesn’t have a single teammate that has had any of those things and he still has a championship. Yeah he deserves criticism. But we can’t give him the same level of criticism especially since the team he lost to had the DPOY, an all defensive 2nd team member and 2 all stars. The fact that Denver made it a series is impressive and it’s because Jokic had back to back flawless games

I don't think it's because the media is protecting Jokic as much as they don't want to cover him as much. You can see with how stephen a talks about him and luka, there's alot of stories that can be told about their journey but they choose to not talk about them I think because of them being foreign and representatives of whole countries. It's the same reason they don't cover dirk as much I mean they keep talking about lebron when that series was happening. It's more of the failure of the media because narratives about them are alot of fun.

@@MarzTalksSportsit isn’t just Lebron. Most other all time greats (Curry, Durant, Kobe, Shaq) would have and have received much more criticism for much less than Jokic has. It’s the Kawhi treatment where because he’s quiet and for the most part non controversial people refuse to give them their fair share of scrutiny but won’t hesitate to give them praise when it’s due.

@@Corey-P because stars and superstars are allowed to have a bad game or a bad series. His play didn’t cost denver the series he just didn’t get it done. Lebron has had multiple meltdowns in the playoffs individually that cost his team the series.
