Great review and test. The manual sure seems to well written and informative. Are you going to do a give away contest for the battery to the person that can correctly pronounce that brand name? 😁😁
Hey a question, I picked some of these batteries but they came with the really brief two page info sheet. I see you have a PDF sent to you by the manufacturer and I can't seem to find them anywhere online other than their Amazon store. Where can I get a copy of the more detailed manual? Thanks James
Would you recommend this batter for a use in a kayak 45lb thrust trolling motor " Speed Control: 5- Max Amp Draw: should be around 42amps but thats at full speed ill be trolling for the most part only full speed if im going or coming from different locations
Couple of questions: I notice that the Positive terminal is on the LEFT side - but the current PUP on Amazon has it in the Right side. What's up with that? Also, the very similar looking PUP on Amazon now has a USB port and charge port on the body side... otherwise same specs
Are you going to do a tear down of this battery as well as highlighting the type of BMS it has in it ? And, what's your opinion of using three of these in series in a 36 volt ego golf cart to replace six, 6 volt Trojan T-125 lead acid batteries ? Great video, thank you for any input.
Id love to see how the bluetooth feature works on this thing. I'm considering adding one of these instrad of my ecoflow delta and wouls love to be able to rely on the app. If adding a separate battery monitor can be avoided that would be killer
Nice battery, good to see it stacks up with the higher price batteries, well done to "pup", good to see the batteries appear to deliver to Australia - I'll have to wait to find out since its out of stock already :)
I was thinking about trying this battery as it’s on Amazon now for $149 bc I’m needing a trolling and on a budget just wondering if it’s a good product as most lithium batteries are much higher in price the other option is power queen same size battery at $239
Ok, what's the build quality like? Open up that battery and take a look. What do the cells look like and who is manufacturing them? How balanced are the cells? Does the BMS have high and low tempature protection that actually work at the tempatures that are called for. (This being a low tem Li battery cold cutoff could be colder than 0⁰C.). This could give some real information how good a value the battery is.

Lifepo4 can ALWAYS be used in freezing temps...in fact any Lithium battery can be used in cold climates, they have been doing this since the battery was invented. Charging on the other hand for Lifepo4 is not a good idea, and despite regurgitators, you actually can charge them in freezing temps but the charge current has to be extremely low. I have the same battery, and its recommendations for charging are anything above -10 C. Now that is news to me.. unless they have a different chemistry no Lifepo4 should be charged at a normal charge rate (.25 C) below freezing. I did similar tests to mine and at 980 Watts the battery sagged to about 12- 12.1 volts, so a little different than your test but ok. Lifepo4 experiences voltage sag more than almost any Lithium chemistry, so thats ok. Im using this in my camper so no big deal.

I prefer name brand batteries that you can pronounce but I think it tested okay.👍 I watch plenty of cat video's daily and have 4 cats. They are turds and hilarious at the same time.😸😸😸😸
DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! Lol, I will be offended AND watch your video, Then watch a cat video. Ha! Thanks for the vid though. Currently trying to get AC in my camper van to last longer than a couple hours on battery.
That's a lot of consonants.... I agree with you, Pup it is. Thanks for the video.
Haha, it’s a mouthful 👍
I worked out how to say the maker's name, but it requires you to say it whilst drunk, in Klingon, under water, with a mouthful of marbles.
I should try that 👍

Thanks Henry, no giveaway planned 👍
Pups have lots of energy.
They were pretty specific on the labeling that this is a 12.8v battery. I think it ran great!
Yes they were, big and bold 👍
Great review. I'm leaning toward getting this battery for my Lure 11.5 kayak motor. Thanks. again.
Thanks Joe, glad it was helpful.
Great review. Thanks Ape
Thanks for watching JT 👍
Good review Smoke!!
Thanks for watching Carl 👍
Thorough and understandable for guys like me. Thanks! 73 Bill
Glad you liked it Bill, thanks for watching 👍
Good video as usual.
Thanks Thump!
Great information as always Ape!!
Thanks Ken 👍
I'm wanting to check it out!
Hey PAL, we’ll here you go…
Apologies if I missed it - are these package or solid cells? Thanks for the great review. I love that battery analyzer you used!
It's one battery comprised of 4 cells.

Hey James, shoot me an email and I will send it to you 👍
Great video! I'm looking at connecting 4 in series. How and best way to recharge when connected in series?
You connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery bank to a suitable charger 👍
Perhaps you want to go watch some cat videos😂😂😂 great video Ape thanks for bringing us another product
Who don’t wanna watch cat video? 🤔

Sorry Scott, I know zero about trolling motors

I did know they came out with a USB enabled battery but I have no idea about the pic...

No, I am not planning a teardown. I'd have to double check the instructions for the guidelines on series connections.

This particular model doesn’t have BT
Is the 100ah mini version of this battery the same performance and have the same capacity as the battery in this video?
Sorry, I haven't tested the mini...
Good work, son
Maybe check the battery temperature during the overload tests.
I need to find my temp gun 👍
Hopefully, they will send some PV panels for review.
That would be OK with me 👍

I've used it a few times and it seem to work well. I have not used it for a trolling motor.

I don’t believe it has temp protection
The plus side is years from now when it quits working you have an awesome boat anchor. 73 Ape. :)
Now I just need one that I can use for a boat!
Can it be used as a second battery in a vehicle? 💥
Not as a starting battery.
you guys can try the temgot battery, same price with more function with LCD screen and app monitoring.
I think they offered me one to test, I’ll go back and check 👍
Please share your results/observations when ready.@@TheSmokinApe
Is this a good battery? I just ordered 6 @ $1674
It’s a decent battery, sounds like you are build a heck of a battery bank 👍

There's a big difference between operating temperature and charging temperature.
That is correct

Looks like a good battery. But it's not the cheapest when shipping is added.
The prices on these things (LiFePO4 in general) has been dropping like crazy, I guess demand is up?

Lol, still not sure I can say that
