I believe that through suffering we learn obedience because we have to choose whether or not to continue on in the faith. I believe that through obedience we learn to love God or we learn what His definition of love is compared to our definition because when He instructs us to do something we don't want to do then we have to choose to do it with a good attitude or we choose to do it but holding a grudge. Sort of like when a woman asks her husband to wash the dishes, clean the house and take out the trash and he does it but he is angry doing it, as oppose to doing what she asks because he is more than willing to do whatever makes her happy. Alot of men have trouble being obedient to the illogical things that God instructs as well as what a woman might ask of them but I don't have a problem with either one really. I do admit though I struggle to show love toward those who love wickedness just because I hate evil so much but I still try to show respect and kindness toward them.
