Laura, have you seen any posts by Vintage Weekends? She is an Italian young lady who travels around Italy thrifting with either her husband or mother. In her last post, she found a blue Bitossi vase for 10 euros at a vintage open air market. She was as thrilled as you would have been!

Your videos have taught me a lot in terms of having more confidence in my purchases and finding my own style. I was very surprised when you showed your purchase of Wally Schwab's pottery bowl/wall decor. I had bought a a piece just like it for $14.95 or $14.99 and it is 18". I found one priced, but not sold, for $295.00 and 16" online. You can bet I am excited! It's pretty heavy and more valuable than I thought it was when I bought it, so I am rethinking where I am going to display it. Originally, I was thinking of displaying it on my deck attached to the house. I consider it my best purchase, yet!
Hey Laura, check out Clarke Auction. They have so many items that you will just melt over. The auction is on the 11th. You can see what they have on TH-cam. I just happened upon them and thought of you for items for your home and such.

I went to visit my parents and came home with some special family Oregon Myrtle Wood. I love it and really want more. I got some rough pieces from my mom's property to be able to make something myself. Yay

Your trips sound epic. Have been to Florence and Rome so know your trip to Italy will be wonderful for the 24 going. About the ceramic ducks. I believe they are from XVIII Azulejo e Faianca in Lisbon. They make Authorized copies of historic tiles and ceramic ornaments, plates vases etc. I believe yours are for vinegar and Oil. Perhaps contact them for confirmation as they usually write authorized copy made in Portugal, but the mark is the same. Hope this helps.
Love your videos, I have to say I get so tickled when you go gaga over the 70's stuff. I'm 69 and grew up with all this stuff, been there done that for me!!
Your thrifting and collectibles video’s are the best! The Portland vintage mall is beautiful. The booths are set up so well, they are a pleasure to go through. I really need to go to the PNW.
Laura, those were pueblo crosses and unbeknownst to early Catholic missionaries; they represented dragonflies to the Native Americans. Dragonflies fertilized 🌽which feed the tribes.

The Best show today. I wish we had that beautiful clean water here in Tampa Bay Well, our beaches are pretty good. I just can't get over the stores you take us to. My home is MCM and always love seeing more. I agree that you could get group trips to your State. I would love to go.
Quite possibly my favorite episode! You are my spirit animal! I recently found a blue Bitossi and had it appraised by George the Antique Nomad…of course I thought of how you would approve!

I found an orange fondue pot still in the box unused and a fruit wood and chrome salad set with salad bowl six serving bowls, wood utensils, and salt shaker and pepper grinder, all unused in the box. All these items were in our uncles attic above the garage! Amazing!
I am going to be in Oregon Sept 18th thru the 24 th at Cannon beach. I can not wait to do some thrifting in this area and in Portland. Absolutely love your finds🥰

At Memory Den, you walked by a bust of a little girl reading a book, possibly by Cristoforo Vicari Caslano, from the 19th c. that’s very valuable. Upwards of $500.
I love the tall bird, but when you said napkin holder ?? oh they make the wings!! that's pretty great. Also I am happy for you to have found the Bitossi candle holder in the blue pattern; I hope you find another. I am only 5 min into your vlog and feel your excitement!
I live in New Jersey and want to tell you that there are No incredible pieces like you are always finding. We don't even shop like you, off the shelf. The cart is pushed out into the store from the stockroom and there are between 4 and 12 people ready to grab when the cart comes to a stop. You have to be fast because the cart empties in a blink of the eye. Not a very enjoyable way to shop. So I look forward to seeing your videos. I always love your finds. Thanks Laura

Are you talking about Goodwill bins? I have a niece there and she finds incredible items, but she has certain vintage she's searching for. She's very secretive about her shops!
Sounds like a road trip is in the cards...
Our Goodwill does not allow anything to be shopped until it’s on the shelf.
@@dthomp06 That's a shame that you don't have the bins. I've only come across them in larger cities. They charge by weight and believe me, it's cheap! I've come out of there with a vintage suede coat (absolutely nothing wrong with it) and a quilt, some tops, and a lamp. Only paid $11 for the entire cart full. I can't remember exactly what the price per pound is. You need to come to St. Louis, Mo.!

Hey Laura, that cat you plan to put a little plant in , I had one just like it when I was in my teens! It was made to grow sprouts in the cracks (or stripes) and the seeds came with it! BTW, I’m 66 now!

I didn't know Courtney (sp?) opened a store in downtown Gresham! Woo Hoo! I am in Gresham almost every day. I cannot wait to go check it out! When I was in high school I worked at a Rexall Drug Store right on the corner of Main Street & Powell Blvd (close to where her store is!) It is now called Jazzy Bagels. I also used to be a picker for Foxtrot Vintage on Main Street!

That denim jacket looks like it might have been made from a "junk jeans" vest pattern. There are some copies on ebay. Basically you cut a vest out of some old jeans, using some of the original seams and embellish as you like!
You should check out a little shop called Primtiques two miles south of Harrisburg Oregon not big but great stuff

Great video! I have two white tall glass genie bottles made in Italy. They have wooden stoppers. They are so gorgeous! I would like to sell them, but have no idea what to ask for them.
When you posted the trip, I went on to look. It had two spaces left. And that was when it was first posted. Unbelievable! I do so love shopping with you. I wish there were more places near me like these shops. There is one that I know of. I haven't been in a long time. I'm trying to get out of the seventies while you are wading in the decade. And you are up to your eyeballs.
