Laura you have an extraordinary talent for taking an ordinary looking object off a shelf and staging it with other objects to make an interesting and beautiful arrangement! Love seeing what you will do next!
I’m not much of a complainer in life but this weather for 10 months straight has really been hard for a lot of people. Seasonal depression is a real thing and when it’s 10 months a year it’s rough 😞 With that said, I know extreme weather is happening all around the world so we’re all in this together 💔
I'm a lifelong thriftier who has been buying and selling for years -- I'm old, born in the 1960's -- this is the first "younger person" channel I've found where you get it (you're not a millennial from the Midwest who is buying cheesy & trite objects and posting to TH-cam) -- You say what attracted you to it, why you bought it, and, in some cases, why its valuable. Love it! There needs to be more of you in the world!
Your style is amazing! You pick things I don't really think I like and make them look fabulous - like the floral plate you picked up (the second styling was my favorite). I've been binging your videos and love every single one. You're one of a kind and your joy in life and vintage makes my life happier, too. Thanks!
I love the second setting , it’s more simplistic and the pottery added makes it special. So happy you and Jesse are home safe and sound. You’ll treasure your fond memories you made together.
Omg I am rewatching some older episodes and I was so thrilled that you still have the brown & white striped pot I gifted you a few years ago😊😊- your videos are so great- take care ! Pam
I Love the first setting .....I just love vintage anything ...and you make it look so awesome....they all looked FAB...but first one was my fav...! By the way.... love all your turquoise...!!!
Hello Laura I am new to your channel. I Love, Love, Love going to Goodwill to see what kind of Treasures icon find. Thank you for sharing this video with us. So until next time God Bless you and have a Blessed day and stay safe my dear friend. 💚🙂🦋
FYI dogwood is called whippletree in England. My dau has 30 acres in central VA filled with dogwoods and her dream is to one day create a wedding venue. She even named her road whippletree. Love love love dogwoods!
Thanks for another great video. I loved all the videos from your travels but I did miss your thrifting videos. I really love it when you style things three ways. I couldn’t even pick a favorite with the bowl or the vase because I loved them all.
Beautiful finds and I just found you!! Another beautiful find! The yellow pot I am pretty sure is for fondue. I just found a green one just like that yesterday but it has a stand for the burner.
I love how you styled the white vase in the first vignette. The texture of the vase beside the painting on the hand was phenomenal. But then you had it styled with the blue pieces! Heaven.
Oh my dear Laura, you know you can't complain about the Oregon weather! The rain keeps everything so beautfully green, and anyway, it's going to be 100 degrees tomorrow! Ha! Welcome home.
I'm a big fan of Scheurich plant pots as much as home made pottery for my darling plants! As for the Bavarian white vase I adored the 2nd setting , so much blue 💙
Oh wow. I swear I have the same box. I did the same thing! I was in elementary school and went to the mountains of North Carolina. The front, in the corner said Grandfather mountain (I think). It had a mother and baby deer in the woods. I think it was kinda green coloring of the photo, and the rest was wood. tiny metal closure. Was able to put a little lock on it. I keep my rocks I found as a kid in there. Now I have to find it. :D
Welcome back Laura 😊 Your thrifting videos are just so good, you present them so well. I love that you show the other shelves not just the ones your purchases are selected from and your commentary is perfect. Camera work is absolutely excellent. All just so professional! I liked the first setting best. How good does that wooden stopper look too👏 Thank you for taking us on your thrifting trip 😁
In 1975, after high school, I worked doing secretarial and receptionist work on Canoga Ave, Canoga Park CA. Across the street was a pottery company. They worked in a quansit hut, which was very, very warm. I had never seen anything like it.
You would LOVE taking an intro pottery class. I was (still am) obsessed with pottery and taking an intro course at my local YMCA really opened my eyes to how much work and time goes into each piece. Each step in the process is necessary as well as an opportunity to be creative. Much love!
I think the fondue pot is supposed to have a "stand" where you put the sterno to heat the fondue. I used to have one just like it only burnt orange/red.
Hi Laura, I'm glad you back as well. I am somewhat new to watching your channel and I have watched pretty much all of what you post. I loved your Europe vacay, felt like I was there! I love your style and have learned so much from you already. Keep doing what you're doing.... Your fantastic!!
Fantastic haul. The beautiful white porcelain vase, breathtaking!! Maybe someday I will find one, I have a mental image ingrained in my mind!! Thanks to your coaching!!💕💕🦋🦋💕💕
Well welcome back. Am so glad you all had a great vacation. And yeah...no summer for us until, what...the weekend AFTER Forth of July. But that's the PNW for you. 🙂
I can see why you like this GW; it's a super size store! Just look at those white pieces that will go with almost everything; love when you spot something really good and run, run after it. That's a real treasure hunt ha ha.
Hey Laura, I loved all 3 of the bowl stylings! But . . . that said, the 1st was my fav. I could picture some fresh bread on the board, a salad in one bowl, and my favorite zuppe toscana in the other bowl. The vase settings were also great, but I loved the 3rd setting, it just spoke to my own love of pictures depicting street scenes in villages that remind me of living in a small “West” German village as a military brat. Ahhh, so many memories!
You have the most lovely taste and poise. I’m so envious of your wonderful Goodwills. In Ohio, it’s largely junk. But I enjoy tagging along on your local trips. Thanks Laura. Be blest👩🏻🦳♥️☦️🇺🇸
Woohoo America’s greatest MCM and Boho genius is back!!!!! And as usual temping everyone with here gorgeous jewelry and educating us on her finds. I love the way you give us those styling ideas, and you leave something’s for others to find after you have gotten the things you love and know your clients would want to buy. Welcome back. Send some of that rain to Texas!!!!
Hey Laura, it’s Pam. I liked the display that included the brown and white striped covered dish I sent you over a year ago -it warmed my heart to see that you are still enjoying it 💕- glad to have you back and thank you for taking us along on your amazing Europe trip
We are alike. I love unusual pieces and my friends say that I know how to put them with other items. I love your style and what you pick.. At estate sales pottery is not considered a pricey item unless it is really well known…I love it all.
Morning Laura, yes your home ,but you an Jessie have lots of beautiful memories of your once in a life time holiday .It’s so nice to see you back thrifting, you always pick up amazing items ,much love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
Be glad for your weather. We are already in the triple digits in N. CA and in severe drought. Thanks for another fun shopping/thrifting video. I look forward to the videos of the rest of your trip.
Welcome back! What a great, quality haul. The little marble canisters .... so organic and fresh. Loved all three vignettes for the bowl but my favorite was the MCM. Have never met a white bowl I haven't liked. The Wunsiedel is everything and well that Hippo - you already know! Thanks for bringing us along.
Great finds Laura. Wish the Goodwill around here were as great as yours. Very short shelving and very old items on them. Thank you for showing items displayed with what you have already. I have Polish pottery, Nature print, and I know the white vase would go wonderfully displayed on my table or on/in the antique cabinet. Thank you for the videos. Don't miss any of them.
Do not worry to be back home we've be hit by big heat wave in France up to 40°c (100F) degree for a long week and now it is pourring rain and thunders for few days now
I love the second setup, you have an amazing eye. Like the others welcome home (USA) look forward to more of your fantastic trips in your neck of the woods ⛰️
I love your outfit!!! Beautiful color. Especially like the necklace collar. Nice haul today. Sorry the rain is bumming you out. If I could trade weather with you, I would in a heartbeat!!💚💚💚
Laurie I'm glad that you and Jesse are back home I know you had a good time enjoyed watching your videos never been to Paris but I feel like I have now
Laura you have an extraordinary talent for taking an ordinary looking object off a shelf and staging it with other objects to make an interesting and beautiful arrangement! Love seeing what you will do next!
Thank you! 🥰❤️
Much as I loved your Europe vlogs I’m happy to see your thrifting vlogs again.
I always say to never complain about rain …. moisture helps prevent forest fires and Oregon is full of beautiful trees!
I’m not much of a complainer in life but this weather for 10 months straight has really been hard for a lot of people. Seasonal depression is a real thing and when it’s 10 months a year it’s rough 😞 With that said, I know extreme weather is happening all around the world so we’re all in this together 💔
@@leftcoastrevivals we are in the Pacific Northwest too, with all the rain. With family in AZ and CA, the rain can never be too much for us!
I really like that you show right away how you have styled your items. Haul videos get boring until we can see the items styled.

I would have been so excited about finding the West German vase. We have several of my mother's.
Pam
The salad bowl setting. Enjoy your rain. We are in the midst of a bad drought in Southern Utah.
You have a talent/gift and I enjoy shopping with you because I'm never disappointed.
Welcome back! Thanks for mentioning the Blue Mountain Pottery,I have a few critters myself and love it! 🇨🇦
I Love the first setting .....I just love vintage anything ...and you make it look so awesome....they all looked FAB...but first one was my fav...! By the way.... love all your turquoise...!!!
Thanks so much Maria!! ❤️
Welcome home!!! So excited to go shopping with you again. Beautiful finds, as usual. Can't wait for house updates.

Loved travelling with you, but I’ve missed these videos so much! Yay!
The white porcelain vase with the blue setting is really beautiful.
I would just put the bowl in my kitchen cabinet and use it when needed. All my German, East German, French, and Italian items in my cabinet.
I think they may have been Dogwood flowers on the bowls. Love those wood salad tools!!!
FYI dogwood is called whippletree in England. My dau has 30 acres in central VA filled with dogwoods and her dream is to one day create a wedding venue. She even named her road whippletree. Love love love dogwoods!
@@cindyboyd8137 I went to a pub named "The Whippletree" many years ago, now I know what a Whippletree is! I'm in Canada!

You are correct! A fondue pot 😋 Also, glad you found me! ❤️ Welcome!

I love the white vase with the blue. Beautiful
In the early 80’s I owned brass colored birds flying.
I'm a big fan of Scheurich plant pots as much as home made pottery for my darling plants!
As for the Bavarian white vase I adored the 2nd setting , so much blue 💙
East Texas weather in the 100+ no rain, trade ya! Weicome Home.
3:48 flower design is dogwood - the first setting as two

Love you and your channel! I like the modern styling for the 70’s bowls the best. Take care! I’ll send you some sunshine from Las Vegas!🌞
I'll take Oregon weather over texas 104 ,relentless sun .
Aren't you glad for that rain! After the fires, we were rain dancing. I live in Sherwood and, on my way home yesterday, the temperature was 108°
Love the Bitossi candle holder , never mind about anything else 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
