So I didn't check completely check how many people tried to explain what Kaleidoscope Haze is about, but from Cold Rain and this one, I've concluded that this is the story of someone who is caught in a cycle of mundane activities. They do the same stuff day in and day out, which most likely led to a lack of purpose... perhaps the Kaleidoscope is exposure to something more or it's a way to express different aspects of life. I believe this would explain why both parts of Kaleidoscope Haze end in suicide without necessarily speaking of self-loathing. This theory is DEFINITELY half-baked, but I believe I might be on to something.
The Existence of Drugs? I mean, in one of the previous songs it uses urban terms for marijuana. And this one it shows a cycle at the end, possibly of addiction...?
I think I figured it out. They're stuck in , let's say a drug world as at the end they sing "forever ever" then it shows 'stuck' so they're forever ever stuck in their drug world/obsession and suicide was the only way out.
I think I figured out what the song means It talks about how the protagonist wants to do something more with their life, but feels as if they are never good enough This leads to thoughts of suicide. They almost go through with each attempt but is always held back by the fear of death or the yearning to still do what they dreamt of. This leaves them in an endless cycle, making them "stuck."
This is one of the one-of-a-kind Vocaloid songs that puts an unexplainable pit deep within your chest. This is an amazing song, I'm simply in awe by it.
,,,,,,,,coming back after i recovered from a severe depression slump during 8th grade- i’m gonna be in 12th grade next year. you’ll get through this, guys. you’re strong. i believe in you. you’re very much capable.
I really like this! It has a unique sound.....I especially love the harmonies. It's nice to see some english vocaloid songs that aren't just heavy dubstep and stuff like that. And Gumi is always a plus!
Holy shit! I was hoping you'd eventually upload this to TH-cam with a PV after I heard the audio on SoundCloud! You all did such a great job, as usual! CYBER DIVA and RUBY's harmony at the end really gives me chills!
Yay another Overdoze song! Great melody and lyrics once again. Gumi and Avanna sound SOOO good together. But then again, I knew they would. The two of them have my favorite voices for English originals
This track is so chill man, keep up the good work!! I'm in love with the instrumental track, it has this nice pace to it. The mix is really nicely done as well!
The song overall sounds so familar! Like, gosh, it feels like I've heard the beat somewhere when I was younger I JUST CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE I HEARD IT FROM.
i still love this!! this whole series!! it was painfully relatable years ago when i first listened to them and they still are. the cycle keeps going, it's crazy, this stasis truly is endless. it stays too late, I'm still all I'll ever be someday i might be free but it won't be today and it won't be tomorrow or next week or next year, but someday beautiful work!! one of my favorite GUMI songs ever, i come back to it every couple of months, a certified classic🌈🌻💚🧡
Joshua Cortes ye I've always thought the theme was self hate and stuff along those lines but the songs clearly tell a story but its hard to catch on to
so what I was thinking was that it's not about just one person. Like the first one is about a person who keeps getting into accidents {getting hit by a car, getting caught up in a bank robbery} and then in the end dies. Then the second one is about the friend of that person dealing with depression after the person had died which results in them committing suicide. For this one I'm not 100 percent sure but half of me says that it's more in depth on the person in the 2nd one's thoughts and how they died. The other half says it's a completely different person. I hope this makes sense
this song had alot of parts to it. can anyone pieces it together?? Also, how does this fit in with kaleidoscope haze other than the brief mention near the end??
4:10 is the only time they really bring up color directly. I'm just curious how this song plays into the original kaleidoscope haze and chapter 1: cold rain
this is only first thoughts, but with the theme of suicide in it, and the singer is mostly avvana, I believe this song ties in more with cold rain rather the original, like a back story before she's stuck in the colors as it mentions in the end.
I think i watched this song a little to many times 😅 i had a nightmare one night that i was watching a tv and in it looked like a moving colorful kaleidoscope so i put my hand in the tv screen cuz it looked pretty and the kaleidoscope sucked me in and it felt like my body was being sucked into a really tiny tube then i woke up....
ok ok I could be totally wrong but I just wanted to share my thoughts and how I interoperate this series so far. What I first thought of seeing how the first two were the same song but depicted with very different tones, was bipolar disorder. the first was the manic high and the second was the depressed low. This song I thought was expressing how it feels like your stuck in this cycle. "this is all I'll ever be" being the fear of never getting better. that's just my thoughts for now though if more songs are made they can totally prove me wrong

I think you might be right at least this is the most thought out theory I’ve found.
this is so good but i still have no clue what this project is about
I think the speakers are dealing with depression, alone. Unfortunately it seems like their story doesn't end well.
The Existence of Drugs?

HANG ON! The major link is that the channels name is 'Project OverDoze' and all the songs are about drugs. That's as much as I can get.
Suicide, depression, and drugs....
VOCALOID SONGS KIDS
I think I figured out what the song means
It talks about how the protagonist wants to do something more with their life, but feels as if they are never good enough
This leads to thoughts of suicide. They almost go through with each attempt but is always held back by the fear of death or the yearning to still do what they dreamt of. This leaves them in an endless cycle, making them "stuck."
thats exactly how i feel
except ive never tried to kill myself
This is one of the one-of-a-kind Vocaloid songs that puts an unexplainable pit deep within your chest. This is an amazing song, I'm simply in awe by it.

I've been waiting so freaking long for this and it was totally worth it.
Just died from excitement.

Through my years of life this song seems to always come back to me, I don’t know why but I find myself very attached to this song.

I have somewhat of an idea but someone should explain
Joshua Cortes ye
I've always thought the theme was self hate and stuff along those lines but the songs clearly tell a story but its hard to catch on to
***** hmmm that's a good interpretation I can see that too

this song had alot of parts to it. can anyone pieces it together?? Also, how does this fit in with kaleidoscope haze other than the brief mention near the end??
Viscount where's that mention?
Winnie Brennan I think it's the colours part on the last chorus?
4:10 is the only time they really bring up color directly. I'm just curious how this song plays into the original kaleidoscope haze and chapter 1: cold rain
