Someone scratched my left outside rear view mirror cover. I ordered a replacement from Ebay for $45. It arrived quickly, and this Sunday morning, following your video, I installed the new cover in about 20 minutes. GREAT instructions!! Saved me $$ on this S Class Mercedes. I didn't need the little tool you had, but used something similar. Thanks again!!
Thank you, just swapped to carbon mirror covers on my w213 e63s and this video helped me tremendously. I was nervous at first but after the 10th view I finally tried it lol.
I just tried to pry my passenger mirror out using this method but shattered the mirror. Bummer! That's a $160 mistake. I was intending on adding carbon fiber covers. I'll just live with the original black covers, instead of risk breaking another mirror. I have a 2019 E450 Coupe. At about the 30 second mark the installer mentions with your fingers or tool pry off the mirror. I think this would work fine using your fingers. If you place the pry tool in the wrong place it can crack the mirror.
Can you help me?🙏 I got some mirror/puddle logo-lights for left an right side. The left side is fine. But i dont know how to remove the right one, because its smaller inside...😕 The other parts inside blocking way, the 360 cam is alread remmoved... Thanks a lot😅 EDIT: they say cut out the Bracket inside... or push down the lower plastic of the mirror, oukey :)
I have the same issue but on my S63 L which has same mirrors and setup as W253 and W213. I'm currently on the first side which is Passenger side and zero room to take the LED puddle light out. I have the new logo ones but I'm guessing I will have to trim it out some how using a Dremel too.
@@sambam2005 mine is done, i "dremeld" a piece out... Its was easy, take 10-15min to slowly dremel the inside a bit. Now its fine, and looking nice😁 * a bit... 0.5inch or smt... watch the mirror-motor an other cables, dont broke them😊

Can you please also make a video to show how to put it back. I'm struggling to do that. Thanks a lot. You rock.

Yep I did the same on my Aunties car 😔 Tried to fix a mirror folding out too far, now made the situation worse.
Same scenario for S class W222. Remove the glass then remove mirror cover to get the access to internal elements
Excellent - Very clearly explained.
Can you show us how to put it back please ????
really detailed video! thank you! It's the same for w213 - facelift!
Glad it helped!
Thank u a lot for this videos bro💪
