The vocal cords are weakening and listen to Axl Rose and Co how they sing live these days. She never performs this live, only the studio recording. she lip syncs to it. .As far as a great performance goes, all the performances are the same . She basically stands in one place, then walks to our left about 6 steps, then goes back to the middle. The dancers are the show. Yet everyone says how awesome her performance was...? No I'm not A Cher hater, but a big fan. Been watching and listening to her since 1970. She's been terrific! But let's not go all crazy saying she's kicking ass. At 64 I couldn't sing AND jump around on stage either. At 77, she definitely needs it toned down. Let's just say, she's doing what she can, as well as she can. But these performances are very easy to do. I wonder if she is going to try and play rocker and sex symbol at 80????
