ran an 03 rx-1 last winter.. gained about 10 lb muscle mass.. but seriously like a train on rails on the trail. thing took down a MXZ 800 H.O too at about 116 mph. went great until had bearing failure and threw a home run in the crankcase.. I don't care what anyone says the rpm they operate at exceeds what a fourstroke is capable of.
Rx1 is brutal, but like a boat in powder... just like a bugatti veyron would be offroad. This year I might switch my 2-stroke for the new yamaha viper :)

How much of a difference did the C&A PRO MTX orange skis make in deep powder, I'm in Fairbanks Alaska, and I think we have similar snow conditions in regard to deep sugar powder and if you step off in to it, you go all the way to the ground. Were the orange skis worth the cost for the floatation? Thanks

As an RX1 rider I laughed when you went to whip the rear end around! Then I developed sympathy pains in my back and shut up :) Can't wait for snow!!!

Mod out the rx1 with long track and lighten it that would be sweet

You should make the rx1 into a mountain mod. Extend the tunnel and track and but a turbo into it.
Kealey already has a mountain mod rx1 turbo in the shop, this one will be a sleeper with nitrous!!
That rx1 has got to be a bitch to get out if you get stuck with it that's why I hate 4 strokes too heavy
They should ride with others that can tow you if needed
