i did the same as a fullsize cabinet. If its done right nobody will see that it is just cardboard. If the paintjob is done right it looks quite good. Its like an artificial christmas tree ^^.. But instead of a notebook i use just a raspberry 3b+ single Computerboard with retropie. Costs just about 35 Euros (you dont even need a case because its inside of the arcade case). On a 32GB SD Card you can fit about 20.000 Games from arcade/snes/genesis(Megadrive)/NES/Mastersystem/Neogeo/Amiga/c64 and so on....
cute kinder project. I did mine in 11 seconds. Same day delivery amazon LOL. and I didn't waste my entire day. Considering how much a make daily, it average out about the same. Except mine looks better than yours.
I want a bartop driving game kit that can fit a 19" 4:3 LCD. Why does nobody make these? 3d driving games like Daytona and Ridge Racer don't look too bad on an LCD. Neo Geo and arcade games look terrible on a flatscreen...
first time I seen it made this way, no matter how many of these videos I watch I never get tired of them... Can't wait to finally build my own!
Pro tip : you can watch movies at kaldrostream. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Cesar Jamari Yea, have been using kaldroStream for since december myself :)
@@cesarjamari1979 ill check it out!
Nice! I'll bet you could put some t-molding on it for some extra flourish.

Sir, where can we find the template for the bartop cabinet?
Wow I can't believe this is cardboard!
How did you make the separate graphics look so seamless when glued together?
Tim Miller I was wondering the same.
That's actually a pretty good idea. Could make it portable too.

Mighty impressive...good work and keep it up😉

This is amazing. What size monitor/screen is used in the video?
i guess a 17" 4:3 tft.. you can get used ones for a few bucks.
Omg
If you use liquid tape on the edges it’ll look like you actually used trim on it
Can you tell us how we can make an arcade fight stick ,please
First

why would you waste so much time making that out of crap ?
Why would you spend our entire money on a crap arcade machine?

You can add scan lines and curve the screen to make an LCD look like an arcade screen in your settings in certain systems or by a scan line generator
Fake scanlines never look good and certainly not like a real crt arcade monitor. Only newer 3d games look ok on LCD panels.
@@Zebra66 yep but its something...
