    Wow. Daniel you really do such nice work. It’s fun watching you and you give off such a nice fun personality. It for sure is real since we have been good friends with you now for 3 years. Our experience working with you during our build was very nice. And your fun and kind disposition matched what we saw in your videos during our own experience during the many hours we spent in video chats during our build. And the years after our build you have continued to be a great friend and help us through the bumps that come with the fun and exciting life of arcades. You truly are an example for others learn from. What do we mean? Its how sincerely kind you are and patient with those you work with.
    You probably would say oh this is fine. But we wish you had a larger work space since you for sure deserve it. You even make the mistakes look fun. lol.
    We wish we could do a build all over again with you, since we would be able to make better choices with the things we have learned as well as the new things that are happening in gaming, but it’s tough considering the cost. We know who ever is getting this cabinet will absolutely love it. Your friends Carlo & Maria

    This is truly awesome stuff!😮You are an arcade building genius. And the work you do,the ideas and work you put into your builds is inspirational. If I were to have an arcade built I would want you to do it. Can't wait to see the next steps in the following video. The arcades back in the day were an integral part of my life as a kid. And all the fond memories that went with it. To see someone keeping it alive and doing it to another level is amazing! Greetings from London Cheers!

    This is an excellent video, with so many tips to help others, and as always the cabinet looks amazing. As you were talking about the router, I thought maybe it's time they upgrade the design and add some type of clip on it for the top and bottom of the wood to help keep it stable. When it comes to all that wiring, you must have the patience of a saint, I don't think I could do it.
    I was wondering if you thought about something like bartops cabinets using mini PC's? Now that integrated graphics have gotten so much better and can play consoles up to PS2 (Some PS3)/XBox360/Wii, and the mini PC's have gotten really small, I think they would work great for a retro arcade bartop quite well.

Also you have given me an answer to a problem I have been having with my cabinet. I have 2 ultimate I/O Boards and I cannot stand that there are no RGB lights for the xinput. Now I think I wil end up getting an Ipac4 to usae as my controller inputs (having it as xinput for everything makes it easier.) and using my ultimate I/O boards to control the menu buttons and the pinball buttons. Now I can have the RGB buttons on all my games. I cannot wait for part 3. Love your Channel.

    This is just on another level. I have watched your older videos and those inspired me to build my own arcade machine. Thank you for sharing everything! I have a question: How do these brook boards work in terms of having their player position setup? E.g. How does player1 stay as player1 all the time? If I understood your video properly, you're using a hub where it has 4 usb3 inputs and switches to different usb/hdmi outputs. Are the player positions set up in the brook boards or the hub does that automatically?

    • @TheDanielSpies_Arcades
      @TheDanielSpies_Arcades  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Wow, that is truly a massive project. I love the great tools you are using. May I inquire why you did not use your Origin Shaper for the transparent acrylic cover? Instead you are using an external CNC company two hours away. Why is that?

    • @TheDanielSpies_Arcades
      @TheDanielSpies_Arcades  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Valid question! I of course made that decision for a reason. First, I did not have a h u g e piece of acrylic in stock. Remember, the panel is 130cm in width or so.
      Second: it would take a few hours to cut it with a shaper Third: the risk of making a small mistake with all the engraving would out-way the trouble to let a specialist do it for me 2 hours away 😅. Thanks D

    wow! a lot going on here ) Head spinning still :) One gold PC PSU could probably replace the cabinet PSU units you are using. I started replacing all the switching PSU units in my arcade machines with PC power supplys because they last longer, Then you might not need the relays as well, you could wire both the PC and the cabinet PSU switches together.. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing your work. It looks great!.. Did you ever see Super Off Road Arcade? the marquee is as big as a flat screen TV monitor. That gives me an idea to use a second display as a marquee and information display maybe it could display the information that those little display boards you have on the control panel as well. Something to ponder in a design. Thanks for all you do :)
