I am loving this series. I binge watched this a lot in the past week. One thing you can do with build and repair, I saw Largely Unemployed do this in a playthru, is make a blue print of your base and ships. Then use projectors for an overlay to auto repair your stuff. So, if your shields fail, you have an auto backup to repair and build items you lost. I have done it in my games. You can turn off projectors while not underattck, then turn on when under attack on your command console. I would also put your shield up and down on you command console. Build and repair comes in small grid also, so your ships can have thier own projectors. Saves time.
Fyi...turn off build and repair before setting up projections.
I bet all that progress feels good bro! I saw on a previous episode that someone had suggested using decoys.... With the high tide coming up to your lover level, I was thinking maybe you could make a pair of drone boats that circle the base. Maybe they have their own power supply or maybe they have to reconnect to the base to recharge?!? Might be a bit difficult when the tide is lower but then you could have a low tide floor for them to connect to!?!
hi I was the one that commented on the shield hp last vid. Apparently the hp increasing with shield size is a known bug that can happen though i don't know what causes it. Though I'll admit I've never used the shield without the modulator and enchancer so it might have something to do with that.
Oh nice, welcome back! Yeah I noticed while editing the video that the HP went down from like 400k HP to 30k after I made it super massive so I'll probably bring it back down to normal! :)

FYI the build and repair ( sometimes called BOBS ) Can be placed on rovers / flying ships / water vessels and be configured to build from a ship or can be used to grind from a ship, and target just like weaponds...IE power / weaponds / thrust so forth and so on. Enjoying the content, prefer the longer content but you do you M8 ( question from last video )
Thank you! I'm so glad they work on moving vehicles :) That will be my plan to finish up the horrendous project I've started faster! This episode ended up shorter as I wasted a lot of time figuring out how to extend the range of the BOBS but I'm trying to ramp the episodes up to longer times :) Thanks for watching!

What are your plans for the top of the space elevator? Will you have just docking connectors or will you build some sort of a platform?
Going really elaborate for a platform, you could set up a "repair" station where ships with damage could hover around some welders.
Maybe even build something like a space port up there, with preassurized rooms with all the "amenities".
You read my mind :) I'm definitely thinking a full space station up top with repair areas, docking ports, etc. We'll go all out to celebrate the completion of this monumental task that I've decided to subject myself to!
You lost shield HP as you increased shield size >.> from 460k to 33k

I don't use that two mods for repair there one mod was too op for repair but you need like 200 battery to use 😆 because it also mines and scrap stuff but there a down side where if you want to scrap a ship must have scrap bacon and so on for others like mining and repair off grid but I have not seen it used in long time so mite be dead mod by now
