Awesome video ‼️ I also read each of the chapters that covered every episode as each episode aired and I really enjoyed the series since the films ruined my first read of the books. I also think that they are not pushing Percabeth but instead they are pushing the friendship between Percy and Annabeth more and showing how people with ADHD can rush faster into relationships versus just exploring and developing friendships. And Rick Riordan didn’t want to include the Annabeth crush on Luke. As for the lotus casino for me it was better in the show because in the book it took so much explaining of the hotel that it had me distracted and just skipping ahead but that’s just me and my ADHD 😅😅😅 Also I don’t understand why people keep complaining about the lighting because I watched it on the tv screen the lighting was excellent and dark at all now if you and others are watching it on your laptop, desktop, iPad, or phone than yes I will agree and say that lighting was dark. So I would recommend watching it on the tv screen and to compare the lighting. 😅
Oooooh thanks for the insight :)) we actually watched the show on tv and my mom was also complaining that it was so dark 😭 i rewatch the series again on my ipad and laptop, and some scenes were still dark 😭 but that’s just a minor complaint HAHA i dont really mind it :D but im glad you enjoyed the series ☺️
@@zidneyu good point. Also everyone is different and the Rick Riordan and the screenwriters and producers have different opinions on how they want to interprete the book. They can’t get inside every persons head and be like oh it has to be this way because that’s how the people envisioned the scenes in their heads or that’s how people envisioned what the gods would be like. Your lucky that that you can envision/imagine book characters a as you are reading them again as a person with ADHD and dyslexia I can’t imagine book characters or what is happening in books when reading reading them which is why I prefer watching the film first but the Percy Jackson just ruined the books for me because I hated film Annabeth and film Grover and the whole friendship dynamic between Percy, Annabeth, and Grover because it was pushing for a romance and film Grover just kind of creepy. As for changing and adding things to the show it’s a way to make things better that Rick would have liked to do like remove the Annabeth crush on Luke from the books but since he can’t remove it in the books he removed it on the show as for the zebra part that’s a lot of information telling to the reader so what’s the difference of getting told a lot of information in the book by the author but it’s bad to tell the viewers a lot of information? The lotus casino in the film is different from the book, the graphic novel, and the series which just shows that different people see it differently. The graphic move completely deletes or skips over the Medusa scene and it also completely changes the Luke reveal at the end. So in the everyone has different ways to interpret how they imagine a book. In the end it’s all good and we should just enjoy it and stop complaining about it. 😅
Them missing the deadline is bad choice bcs it shows Percy is selfish and doesn't care about endangering millions when he is supposed to be the Greek Hero . Also it's d*mb bcs in the book it make sense they lost the track of time bcs of the casino's effect but how come they missed the deadline when they already know what the casino does to them! 😲 Above that the characters in the show knew everything already and were playing in easy mode so technically they should hv more time then book version had. Yet they failed in their mission! The writers ironically made Percy incompetent while thinking they were being smart by catching book reader off guard ! The writers, really ,were changing the story only bcs they could. Not bcs they cared about the story.
@@zidneyu Tho I hope they do improve but I don't know how they can do better if they refuse to show the monsters and creatures. They even rarely showed Grover's legs and Percy's power to cut the cost. That can't work long.
I am scared to voice my opinion because I don't want to ruin others for loving the show while having massive disappointment in it. I just wish it wasn't hyped so much to the point of advertising as faithful to the book as immediately that is a red flag for me because there's going to be a disappointment.
It definitely feels rushed. Like, the fight with Cerberus was SO bad 😂
It wasn't exactly a fight bruh and Cerberus had a total of 4-5 minutes of screen time. it's decent for being a minor monster lol
