I made this last night, it turned out wonderful. The only change I made was to broil the lasagna for a few minutes at the end to give it a bit more crisp on the top. In my oven it took about an hour to cook. I wrote out the recipe below in case you find it helpful. Thanks for this wonderful recipe! Ingredients: 4 cups ricotta (high quality) 12 oz Romano cheese (grated) 2 cups mascarpone cheese 15 oz mozzerella Buratta cheese (the brand I purchased had 2 medium sized balls in the container) 2 eggs Fresh pasta sheets 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped) 4 tbsp fresh basil (chopped) Salt Pepper Marinara sauce In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 4 oz Romano cheese, mascarpone cheese, dash salt, eggs, pepper and fresh parsley until well mixed. Prepare pasta sheets (pasta sheets or lasagna noodles) Now assemble: First bottom layer of sauce, just enough to cover bottom of dish Then sprinkle on 2 oz of Romano cheese and 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil Then layer pasta sheets with a slight overlap up the sides Then thin layer of marinara, 1/3 of cheese mixture. and 5 oz of hand-shredded mozzarella Repeat this layering process (pasta, cheese mixture, mozzarella) twice more For top layer, first a layer of sauce, use a little more sauce on the top and be sure to cover all edges. Sprinkle on chopped fresh basil (just a little) Slice burrata cheese and arrange on top of lasagna Top with 2 oz of Romano cheese Cover with foil, bake at 375 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then uncover and bake 10 minutes Possibly broil at the end. Let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
That lasagna looks delicious. Love all the different cheeses. I could listen to both of you talk all day. Great video. 😊
