I don't know why, but I want too cut V shaped notches down into the steel discs, to make them into spikes. Not that it's not already dangerous enough. I just think it would add a little bit of a bite too it.
Not only is this a devastating mace, its also a beautifully finished one. Brilliant work Onur, you've outdone yaself and everyone else on this one mate 👍
Thanks mate, i need to keep this momentum tbh, unfortunately youtube hasn’t been pushing my videos so i lost a bit of momentum but now just enjoying trying stuff which i hope works better
Was just watching a vid on a disk mace, remembered this vid so I watched again and I have to say: disk mace’s really were slept on when iron and steel became popular. One disk for a mace head blends mechanics of a pick and axe. What you’ve made with several disks is a mace that “bite’s” into the target from any angle you swing. There’s less wind resistance as it swings cause the air just goes through the gaps as the mace head swings in the air.
I thoroughly appreciate your skills. I enjoy the non-verbal demonstration and up-close filming. I am curious of the total hours involved in this project (as with many or your other videos) and the total cost of parts and labor. Thank you for posting.
Thanks very much, well most videos im working on Monday till Friday usually 8-10 hours a day, materials, parts and labour are around £600 obviously that can vary In each project like this mace was probably £1200 all in with time included. Thanks
Great piece! I think you should try making a war boomerang (non-returning) i haven’t really seen anyone else on TH-cam do it and I th8nk you would be able to pull it off well.

Yeah! Like that one a LOT!!! When I read "Stacked disc mace", I thought it was gonna be brake discs and I was thinkin' that'd be a lot to heft 💪💪💪 😁. Just imagine it with sprockets... 😉. Top job dude 👏👏👏. 😎
I've tested many glues and epoxies for applications just like this and hands down the best has been JB weld. Just be sure to wash/degrease all surfaces with comet detergent. It stayed glued to a thin metal surface even when folding the sheet of metal in half!
Got to say that you were spot on with this being one of your best creations. Once again, your talent and details created an absolutely beautiful weapon. The best thing about this channel are those incredible blanks of exotic woods. Just gorgeous! I’m sure a bad guy would be honored to get clubbed with this! 😉 By the way, extra work, and I have no idea how effective it would be, but I can really picture sharp scallops cut on the leading edge of the rings. (?) Thanks for showing us this beautiful piece of work!
I fucking love it brov!!! You are now my favorite TH-camr. I look for your videos EVERY WEEK. I appreciate you for sharing them and your time! Thank you and I love the testing and how unique they all are.
This design is really beautiful, and I've never seen anyone outside of HEMA give love to non-spiked maces, but I kinda feel like you missed why disk maces are shaped like they are. Disk maces rarely used more one disk, and aside from being really cheap and easy to make, the reason is because the disk can be sharpened to a blade, so it can cut as well as crush. Honestly though, this is way more entertaining, standout job.
I just don’t really see the reason to do this cause it would be the same but sharp edges and i built it the way I designed it, to be brutal and do mass damage which it does. If that makes sense
@@pauladams1829 it’s good mate i didn’t take it as a criticism at all, tbh if the video was more popular i would probably have tried different variations but unfortunately it wasn’t
