This is an amazing tutorial! I had no idea you could lower the tempo with the NTS-1.

Patience requiredl. :) I don't have my Keys here now, but I think FLUX can be turned off when recording notes that doesn't need it. Like your second sequence. That lets you rase the tempo during recording and keep your sanity. When finished just switch FLUX back on (if that's even necessary since the notes are recorded already). Just keep STEP QUANTIZE off). Just me guessing. Marvellous gadgets these Volcas!

I just used one of these to position the phone above: www.amazon.es/gp/product/B092CYCQ79/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00
And a lot of natural light.

hi, what is the line at the audio-in port used for?

Normally I process the out signal from the Volcas with the NTS-1, but here, I’m not using it at all.

I think you mean set the note value to 1/4, tempo is BPM.

    • @reciclatusanimales

Absolutely. Don’t know why Korg labeled this feature Tempo (same as the tempo knob, that changes BPM). It should be Step Resolution or something like that.
