Take my hat off to Alan and Nash stable for coming outside of the south and taking note that carp fishing does extend far wider !! now where Alan excels is that carp fishing is not all about fishing lakes stuffed full of 30s & 40s and ever carp is special no matter the size.. Credit where credit is due.. GOOD WORK NASH !!!

I just love the way you guys portray the excitement of urban fishing. My late uncle Fred used to fish Sefton Park lake for tench 50 odd years ago and it’s great to now see it’s providing carp fishing for city lads too.
Famous landmarks topped off by the iconic zebra crossing shot too.
I hope it inspires a new generation to get out and give carping a go. You don’t need to live in the middle of countryside to give it a go. There’s always carp water somewhere nearby, even in the most built up of locations. And the great thing is that here Otters will not be any threat!

Great vid..It showed Liverpool as it is, A friendly place...But I've heard a lot of the park lakes have been plundered by people who take the carp to eat,or move them to other waters..

Brilliant! Alan is a credit to fishing, Nash is lucky to have him on their team. You Brit' anglers have got to do something about the cormorants. There is a new EU law which allows the culling of them, hope it can be applied in the UK.
The EU are the ones that protected the Cormorant. You have to apply to cull and it’s hard to get permission.
It's worth trying though, tragic that we ever got to this position but it's all related to fish stocks at sea and that's an even more contentious problem, so it's easy to feel hopeless, me too, sometimes.
Nail on the head! Bugger up the sea stocks and fresh/inland waters pay for it.
I'm glad you enjoyed fishing in my city but you will have to come back there are plenty more lakes here :) well done guys
This guy he's inspire me to fish for a carp!!! I never feel like carp angler when I fish in the parks but when I see his videos he inspire me to fish over all midlands parks and I try to do from spring!!! More videos from urban!!! Nash team you are rock!!!
Stanley park used to be really good before it got emptyed last . It was full of crucians and tench . I walked around the lake once and counted 72 people fishing .
Grate vid again would be good to see u go back up to liverpool and check out some more venus some stunning fish happy new year to u all at nash

Ah man I was at Liverpool uni for 3 years and was always chilling out in Sefton and greenbank... j knew all the park lakes had carp in but I had no idea how mint they are in Sefton or I'd have doing nights on there instead of nights in the krazy house 🤣🤣🤣

Made up you come to Liverpool and made it out alive lol wouldn't do a night on stanley but would do one on caulderstones or sefton for sure well done lads I've fished them jetties with my dad in summer months and cleaned up on the carp and smalls x
You’re being a pussy I’ve fished nights in Stanley multiple times and ‘made it out alive’ as you call it, get your head out of the papers headlines and maybe interact with the local lads on there a few times and you’ll realise 99% of them are sound kids, you’re not gonna get stabbed up Bro chill

Great video, I live right next to Sefton park gutted I didn’t catch you there Alan. Top fella. Park across the road from Sefton Park, Princess Park fished top draw all summer, you will have to try it next time you are here, some great Koi and a big Grassy in there. Keep up the good work!

I don't think people realise the good you're doing for the sport Alan, all those people you meet that don't have a clue what you're doing or why and by the time they leave they've learnt something about this amazing sport. You're not only make vids for us carpaholics for entertainment but you're also raising awareness not only for the sport but also the care and attention that goes into the carp once it's banked. You guys are doing awesome work and I hope you keep going. And as always, awesome taste in tunes. So the latest UB hits you tube! When I found out it was less than 25 mins long I was slightly disappointed but you just can't knock Nash for that. The content is superb, the videography and editing is sublime and the music fits the footage like a glove. The Fugees 'Ready or Not' has been covered so many times by so many genres but it still gets my hear beating a little faster. How people can compare UB to other great angling videos is beyond me, it is in its own right, unique.
Nicely done mate. I live just around the corner from Seffie pk. It was drained,refurbished and restocked a few years ago. When I was a kid, there was motor boats and rowing boats that you could hire out on there.

Another great urban banx by the team! I think what makes Alan so brilliant other than his obvious carp catching skills of course, is his enthusiasm and approachability, always getting onlookers right in the mix. Top work all round.
