I definitely wanted one of these for my kid. Our Gio has been crashed so many times and I’m constantly replacing parts and it has no reliability.
I couldn’t justify the price tag for this so I got an electric razor max 400. If he keeps showing interest I will get him a bigger Yamaha.

From what age do you think a kid is able to ride this? My boy is 3 and a bit, and is crazy capable on his little mountainbike. He want to ride dirt, but I am afraid he will outgrow the PW50 too fast. But I kinda feel like this bike is a bit too big to start with for a 3 year old.

We went from the Razer to SSR to TTR50 within about 3 years, so riding the TTR by 6 and figure a few more years on it. This bike is noticeably heavier than the SSR. But for $500 the SSR allowed us to economically determine if this was a sport for our son. After roughly a summer it started to have a range of issues. Carb, drive, exhaust, nothing I couldn’t fix, but just annoying issues unrelated to use. Suggest you try to find a used PW or new SSR. Nice thing about PW is you can usually use it then resell it without much of a loss. It’s a guess, but SSR probably sits a little taller.
