Thanks for sharing, I was just thinking about you and wondering how your doing. I'm very happy for you and so proud of you. You've accomplished so much in such a short period of time.
Great! I'll work with my gardener to do that. I really want to make sure all of my plants, trees, and flowers take root and grows. Thanks for the advice! ☺
❤❤❤ Hello my love, I would advise you to plant magos and cocao, they will give you shade and lots of fruit, and also don't forget to make a small pool, because when I visit you we could swim 🏊♂️, and make a place for barbecues
@gawanjacob6563 Lol. I never thought about a cocao tree 🌳 🤔 Thanks for the recommendation 🤗 There's a mango tree in the very back of my yard, and it provides a lot of wonderful shade 😎 Because of my fear of catching malaria from mosquitos 🦟 I won't be getting a pool, so everyone who comes to visit me will just have to settle for some BBQ and good company! 🤩
Love that you will have your sister right beside you🤗. Only advice is get the trees planted they will just give you so much joy while you wait to finish the house and keep at it sister you are well on your way🤗.
Good evening Ma'am. Paw Paw is papaya! I'm glad they have gone into the ground. Fruit trees do take a while to be productive, so get planting so by the time you are ready to move in, there is fruit for you to enjoy. We have a fraction of your land, but we have figs, pomegranate, plantains, bananas! There was a mature mango and ackee already on the plot , but I've also added a couple of avocados and ordered a peach tree from a nursery in Kenya. Will you be putting in a pool? Above ground pools are very reasonable and can be shipped in from Costco. Also consider a pergola and some climbing vines- passion fruit, grapevines. jasmine for fragrance, bougainvillea... Having multiple seating areas gives you 'destinations'. So work out where the sun sits in the evening, have a patio and a firepit there And then work out where your paths will go!
@Aidy-i6j I love ALL of your ideas! The pergola will be a great addition to my yard, and so are the pathways you've suggested. I totally agree about the fruit trees 🌳 So I'm gonna prioritize getting them planted asap. Thanks for taking the time to share 😊 Your ideas are top-notch, and I'll definitely be incorporating them into my design plan 🥰🙏🏽
@JourneyGurrl US too we're just need to find out who has the closest electric to us. Besides a generator, we dont know which one we'll start with first solar or electricity
@BlairsNGhana Your decision will probably be based on your budget. In order to get electricity to your home, you'll have to purchase and run electrical poles from the closest power source. Depending on the cost (which you could try to split with your neighbors), it could be reasonable. I suggest doing a price comparison with solar and electricity. A generator is a must-have, too. I intend to use that as well 😉
I drove by your lovely house last Thursday, it's coming along nicely...I had no idea it's so close to Ron's house and not far from Karen's house...for the plants Miykaal uses some that keeps snakes away...marigold is one of them, I forgot the rest.
Trees: Mango, Orange, Lemon, Palm, Coconut, Cashew, Avocado Food crops: Yam, Sweet potato, Greens , Plantain, Banana, Groundnut, Peppers, Ginger , Beans, Gungo peas, Cassava, Melons, pumpkins. Poultry :Guinea fowls, pidgeons ,
Yeah so basically a farm so no need for too much fancy landscaping 😁
Wow! You've covered them all! I need to print 🖨 this list and give to my gardener 😅 This is awesome! 💯🥰💖
This the best ever u can do for ur whole life to rest ur mind in peace forever away from police citations
