The best money I ever spent was to have my colors done in the ‘80s. I loved summer colors and had sewn an entire wardrobe of lined wool blazers, skirts, and pants in those colors only to find out I’m a winter. Winter colors are black, white, and jewel tones. To me, those colors are gaudy, garish, and just loud. The summer colors had blurred out all my coloring and made me look blah. The jewel tones made my skin glow and I got tons of compliments from people at work that I didn’t even know. There is a specific red or blue or whatever for each season, and also ones to totally avoid.
Fashion is trendy, style is your own personal creation. I love older people that have bold style!

You are right Kathy, I am a warm spring when I had my colors done.
