I played Silemt Hill Downpour years and years after its release, and LOVED it. The town felt real, like you were really exploring an actual place. There were a bunch of places to find and explore, and many side stories/quest type thing to figure out. There was some slight frame rate issues, mainly when getting into a new area or if many monsters appeared, but it was infrequent. As someone who loves survival horror, I Highly recommend it.
When I got my current car in Jan. 2018 the dealer looked at me like I was an alien when I asked about getting a CD player with the stereo so I feel you.
Please play Scarlet Nexus immediately. It is a very underrated game with great art style, fast and fluid gameplay, interesting characters and a good story. Also... dual protagonists so two storylines. But if you play it, you should definitely start on the highest difficulty available. You'll thank me later. Took me about 60 hours to finish the game with one of the characters. I chose the girl, Kasane Randall.
I fully agree, #BringCDsBack - my car is a '06 and has a CD Player in it, loves it. Guess it also has partly to do with not having a cell phone so therefor bluetooth connection is not a thing for me lol. That toy store is awesome. Those Voltron toys look super cool, and that was just the beginning, so much cool stuff for sure. It was amazing to see such a cool store, located in that beautiful village/town, whatever you may call it, the style of it is gorgeous. Been thinking about picking up Scarlett nexus for a while now, but if I came across it for $5, I wouldn't have to think about it at all, nice finds at that Goodwill. So much cool stuff on display, and another amazing time tagging along (through the vid) on a wonderful trip with you guys. Thank you for another great video, and see you for the next one. Hope you're both well and have a fantastic day/week. #Roadto9k
OG iRo Chaos player here, still rock it once in yonder. One of the great MMOs especially to those who knew. Love your guy's taste in video games and anime it very good!
18:07 if you don't have a CD player, just look for a used micro/mini component on ebay or elsewhere by sony, aiwa, kenwood or other good japan audio company. some models also have cassette tape and a minidisc player but mostly just CD and a tape player i'm still using a kenwood one from 2003
On the other hand it is kinda sad that people who cannot afford their hobbies loose the chance to get the games and such for cheap at 2nd hand stores thanks to people flip them for more money.
Well technically they wouldn't be in the 2nd hand stores if someone hadn't recovered them from the wild in the first place. We appreciate when we can find the games thanks to people reselling them 😀
You know when you think something you played or watched when you was younger was a fever dream? I obviously know Ragnarok Online is a real thing cause I've since looked it up, but every time I've ever mentioned it to anyone, they never knew what I was on about! So glad to see one of the TH-cam content creators who is quickly becoming one of my favourites, enjoy the game! I was only 4 when it released, but I probably started playing it a few years later when I was about 8 with my older brother! I absolutely loved the game! As a young kid, I spent a lot of time on that game, and it was technically my first MMO! Keep up the great work guys, I absolutely love seeing new videos posted!
I had to buy my dad an external CD drive for his new computer so he could rip his large CD collection to it (so he can listen to music and play Free Cell.) So yes, bring back CD players for my old man!
Haha well we posted 3 other videos from this trip that went into detail (2 swap meets and buying stuff from Mort). This video covered all the other parts of the trip, if that makes sense
I stumbled upon your channel and there is a lot to like here. You guys are very knowledgeable about games. I like the places you visited, and if I saw a sealed Ocarina of Time I would have lost mind mind. Lol that is my favorite game of all time. Great video guys. I will definitely be tuning in more. 😎🔥💪
Don't get high on your own supply my friends. 😅. I know you love collecting. It's hard to remain partial when it's a source of revenue, Desire and nostalgia.
Well it's a tough choice lol, Elisa would choose 7, I would choose 8. I think 7 is more user-friendly. But if you are an experienced RPG player, you might prefer the intricacies of 8.
the zero time dilemma watch was a pre-order bonus, i believe from amazon? iirc there was a big controversy with them being delivered late and/or coming damaged
isnt old world village alpine village called or so? it is sa german village. lived in CA like 15 years ago. it looks like alpine village you went. maybe they changed the name.

OG iRO was rough! Everyone used to go nuts when XP simply doubled lol. Those were the days
It was a lot of fun to see the video of Book Off in America😆
Definitely not as nice as the ones in Japan, but still not bad! 😀

Ragnarok Online was my first MMO. Played hundreds of hours. I still listen to the OST, which is amazing. Theme of Al de Baran. 😍
Brings back memories!

Thankfully it's not a source of revenue since we both have full-time corporate jobs, so that helps 😀
