My dad and I love watching your shows. He had the money saved up for a shop in our backyard, but inflation stepped in and priced him out. (Doubled) He had been wanting one his whole life, now 49.
It's not easy to talk and work while explaining you do great. It's great to see you don't need a million dollar tools to do great work. You are great for us working stiffs.
    Thanks Chad and Jolene.

Take a look at vintage VW hubcaps. Great design that allows you to get the hubcaps off WITHOUT prying them off with a screw driver or prybar. You could easily do the same thing with your hubcaps. 2 little holes in side of cap, and a tool that hooks into the holes, and your pry the tool with leverage off the rubber, never touching your actual wheel paint.

The lower ford style ball joint extra long plate with holes is reinfored by stabilizer bar. I am a little worried about press in ball joint being cut out and then bolted to another arm probably will be fine but could maybe loosen up. I would keep a close eye on it.

Chad, Malone here. I have heard you mention a few times that mud and primer is giving you small deep pin holes making it hard to prep and usually takes a lot more time. this is how you never make that happen. know your chemistry of the products. the reason why you get those pin holes because your using too much activator creating a chemical reaction, to measure activator for primer use a digital scale, most primers 4:1 measure it in grams and divide with calculator. if you need thirty grams of activator measure 26 grams so measure under the weight. let it sit over night after applying . it will cure up just fine and use separate container for the activator so you always get the right amount before stirring it up together, do the same with mud and clear, anything with activator. most people think it will be better if they just eye it out and make it up, wrong take the extra time so you don't create a chemical reaction. save yourself time by measuring. let me know if you have any problems and let me know you read this

I love this car! I consider it one of (if not THE) most beautiful ever built. I have several scale models and watched every episode of "Restoration Garage" when they were building the reproduction. Looking forward to the day that we can see the two beauties (JOLENE and the car) together at last!!

Love the Interior picks, I would suggest one more though ... the dark brown that you had in the Cruella De Ville and use that for piping around the pads. I use to work in a upholstery shop and we did one with those colors and It looked fantastic.

The ostrich leather seats in a beige color accessories in the color of the car with the mahogany wood trim and chrome parts with your Jolene behind the wheel. What can anybody say ? Just BEAUTIFUL! You two in period clothes would bring back k the days of the Bonny and Clyde's gangster era ! Well you are bad chad hiltz and jolene . Put out a APB on these two for DREAM CARS ! THUMBS-UP JOLENE 👍 AND CHAD

Chad, Stop talking about not seeing it! Its done proper for your Jolene. So even though you're not going to see it, you know its looking good because you done it and Jolene knows you done it so in essence you do see all of it because you know you put the work into it. And people will see it as well ! Get'er done Lad! stop the delaying! I know you want to bounce from car to car for "artistic" stimulation so I understand, but get'er done! Cheers Good Sir! And Jolene , you're a stack of patience! It is going to be One Beautiful Work of Art!

hey chad nothing wrong going extra mile to protect wheels and paint them but im only trying to help out. The way i do them is keep tires on rims let the air out and use a deck of cheap dollar store playing cards and shove them between the rim and the tire and then put air back into the tire holds the cards against the rims and then tape them to the tire. let air out and pull the cards using far less tape and time then reuse the cards for next project

That cream color is cool. You don't see that out there anymore. Now I can't wait to see it on the car. Going to be a long wait. lol I'm kidding, you work pretty damn fast. Chad, keep an eye out for a 1939 Dodge, Chrysler or Plymouth business man coupe. No motor or transmission is necessary. As long as it's not a rust bucket or priced way out of range. I'll take a 1940 or 1941 but the 1939 had square headlight chrome around the headlights to make them look square. Thank you Chad for all the tips and tricks and thank you Jolene great video work. Take care and be safe.

Can you possibly even fathom or believe or even comprehend the Hirohata Merc went for
1.950 mill. Oh my Gosh! Jolene Chad y’all could so do this, if l didn’t know who built the car my first guess would be Bad Chad! Okay or my hero Gene Winfield too.
Much love to you both and keep on getting it!
You should have me on speed dial so when filming live y’all could call me and I’d tell you where you left your glasses, markers, tape, scissors.......
Lol much respect to you both.
