I have started a new job and these sorts of lessons give me the edge. Have just created the waterfall chart along with your training video and it was really helpful - thank you so much! :)
Is it possible for a single column to be stacked and contain multiple values? Like .. sw: 24k, services: 32k - one column, showing the parts and the sum vs. one sum for each column?
To do that, you will need to use the Stacked Column chart. The trick to getting a total on top of a stacked column chart is to also chart the total value. See my other video for how to do that here: th-cam.com/video/Ps8uJwY6qMY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r7ST9wmngcqJemFB
I think you are asking how I continued to split the category name onto separate lines? If so, the answer is to click into the long category name where you want the break, and then hit Alt + Enter to create a new line. If I misunderstood your question let me know.
Brilliant job but there is one thing you haven't which may not be possible which is to then animate your waterfall chart, that is bring up one at a time. You can do this with a bar chart but doesn't appear you can do as a waterfall
That is another reason why some of these "newer" chart types are not always great. You also cannot save them as a template to fast track your formatting. Thank you for letting me know about the animations.

Thanks helpful, how can I add a start target line to show that my start point achieved or came below the targeted start point.
