Before you even posted this video I seen you advertised it on your instagram account and I was intrigued. Now watching this video definitely makes me want one and looking to get the brown to hopefully match the interior.
If i ever get to own a c7 Audi, which might even actually happen, i'll for sure be changing the ball-knob (the one similar to what you've installed) to an "automatic" knob
What do your Shifters feel like? I have a C7 and it feels quite firm and clunky to shift verses say an 8V which was lighter and smoother. Is there something you can do to open it up, clean it up and make the action a little less rigid?
@Audi C7 Owners I know this comment is delayed but love the content on your channel and nice job on the install tutorial for the BFI shift knob which is a nice aesthetic mod, really changes the look of the interior. Before you pulled the original shift knob off, did you have to depress the button, and use a shim to keep it depressed before pulling the knob off? Also, just an FYI, before installing the coin with the BFI logo on the new shift knob, if you loosen the screw in the top of the knob, you can spin the knob to align the seam stitched in the leather so its in the middle, then tighten down the screw and install the coin.
Nice! I just recently swapped my heated 4 spoke wheel w/o paddles for a 3 spoke heated w/ paddles. Might have to look into this shifter, it looks slick.
Hey man awesome job this looks great! I recently ordered one my self but ecs sent me what looks like a Manuel version and it lacks the adapter you screwed on to the shaft by any chance do you know if mine would still fit or do I need to return it lol. Also I drive an Audi A4 2014 Sline. It has a DSG
Hi, your videos are great. I have a question, but it may seem illogical to you. Is it possible to make a center console like the Audi a5 2017 or the new c8 model, for example, is it possible to apply the shift knob in the new models for c7 ?
Good job I didn’t know that they do knobs like this one.only if I knew 😩I had to get one with button in the front s-tronic second hand and modified that white plastic rod with heat gun
Great video! Two things I hated about my A6 interior were the seats & the gear shift. You’ve addressed one here. Would you mind making a video about retrofitting S6, S7 or RS7 seats into the A6? I plan to get another C7 A6 in the near future.
The seats are direct swaps I terms of fitment (I have the DIY's for removing & installing seats up already). The issue comes on making sport seats work (heated seat part) on cars that had comfort seats. I'm going to be addressing this soon
Awesome video! Completely unrelated question, have you got an update from Merc Racing in regards to their TVS1900 supercharger upgrade? I see it’s available on their website for preorder, however specifications and release date seem vague.
I'm sure we all appreciate your time in putting together this diy. But mate... That is an ugly shift knob, sticks out like a sore thumb. Maybe try out a black version if they have one.

The brown will look great. I almost went wth it
Brilliant. Thanks mate! ❤️
That looks really nice!
I love it!

I'm not sure about the ecs one exactly, but you need some kind of adapter to attach it to the shifter

Oooof. No Bueno
You have a part number I could look up? I’d rather have one with a button
@@connor.f12 hi but you can get this knob cheaper from Ali express
BFI knobs are made to order. They aren't drop shipped knobs.
@@AudiC7Owners I mean s-tronic ones with the button they fit ok and looks identical like OEM knobs

Nice video, but I don’t know about the look.
Very Nice!
Looks great if u had carbon trim it would pop a lil more
Yep! I'll eventually do something different with my trim. That's why I went with the red

If you are on Facebook you should join the MercRacing Supercharger Facebook group for updates information. I'll do a video on it eventually
Very cool
Can't get over the $170 for a knob
Is there a C7 Owners discount code?
None, but they are on sale right now!
Quick question does the Audi q3s shift knob ” S tronic ” fit in a Audi a7?? Same as urs
I'm not 100% certain. I'm sure BFI could answer that though
@@AudiC7Owners sorry who is bfi?
Black Forest Industries... The company that makes this knob

Nah I'm good. I love it.
I'm going to be getting rid of the wood trim, which is why I went with this color.
Elegant design with sport knob, just not right
Huh?
Nice i like 👍🔥
Does this fit and A7
Yes!
Thanks bro I’m just ordered mine
Awesome! What color did you get?
Респект, молодец 👍
