Thanks Terry yeh I'm surprised how much it held all the old media from the old one plus nearly a full box of csm so it should work a treat 👍 and yeh the fish are doing great now thanks 😊 👍

Thanks Phil 👍 yeh I will be updating on it when it's been running a while I'm just impressed how much media I've fitted in it it's got all the media from the old shower plus all the new media from Daz and its so much quieter then the home made one 👍
the new shower is looking pretty neat jamie and will polish the water nicely that new chagoi you picked up is a belting fish,been pissing down here for a few days and my roof is leaking in the bar build lol cheers martyn 👍👍

Looks like the fish are ok Jamie 👍I run 2 JS showers and they are agreed bit of kit plus they are a real 1st class company to deal with, you won't be disappointed 👍

Looks good Jamie. I always use pumice in my showers. I did try alpha grog but didn't really like it. My filters are full of aquatic snails and small shrimp like creatures. I'm sure it's them that deplete the KH in my water.
Thanks bud and Quite possibly but I have snails in the Japanese pond and the kh in there is always way lower than the other ponds 👍

I always use flexi hose. so much easier. i raised my shower by using a cut off railway sleeper i had spare. I'v packed my shower away for the winter to save a bit on costs and it was cooling my water a little too much I .have o be a bit carful with the feeding as my easy pod only just keeps up. I reckon i would leave it running next year through winter though.

I'll defo getting one. Can you put I'm the plastic pipe stuff you normally get in box filters or does that have to be submerged
You can literally put in anything mate from plastic media to the most expensive ceramic like everything in life though the more expensive you go the better it works but anything in there will hold bio 👍
@@keepingitkoi thanks. In my box I have that pipe stuff flocur I think its called and alfrogrog so I'd use that as all mature then I can add the ceramic stuff too.
@@Sharpeyskoi that's exactly what I did mate 👍 used all the old stuff and then topped it up with better new stuff just a tip put the cheapest crappie media at the very top and as you go down put the best media at the bottom 👍
