Thanks for the video, if I can propose to you ( you accumulated the issues 1+1+1+...) dimantle all the engine and gear parts till wheels. Then change gaskets, bearings and what is necessary. Rebuild. I know is time to spend now but it also less bad discovery after that.... Focus on mecanic, after you can focus on design, paniting, tires.....👍👍☺☺From Switzerland
Holy moly man, that driveshaft is like at the very end of it's lifetime. It seems it has worn into the U-joint brackets and just a fore warning MTZ 82 and 52 have different front driveshaft. But you can get good used ones and the UAZ also utilizes one of the shafts that will fit the MTZ 52. If you want to know more just ask me. I don't see anything horrible in the oil pan very clean. But the rod journals are probably worn. I don't use fold over locks inside the engine and mainly because I have seen them come loos. So you can put them but I would use hard locktight for the threads.
@@nobodyha8760 I was aiming at the rods bolts those need locktight to hold them from not coming loose. You saw yourself there was some slack in the rod journals, it's just wear that has accumulated over time. Who knows when the last rebuild of this engine was done. I would save up money for a total rebuild in the future. Right now there is no rod knock in the engine so it's ok.
Good job you have plenty of patience which is a good thing having owned one of these 1994 version 👍
DO I see engline rebuild? Nice video Brother, Im from Lithuania!
