- Check out the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Datavault update trailer for the action first-person shooter developed by Saber Interactive. Players can gain access to new content for the game with Datavault Update bringing new challenges and rewards, a new map in Eternal War & Biovore in Operations, Raven Guard and Salamanders, and "Absolute” Difficulty to accompany it. The Datavault Update is also fitted with more free content and much-requested quality-of-life improvements. The Datavault Update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available now for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Making the salamander a sniper was perhaps the most random thing they could have done.
Yeah, only complaint about this is that i feel like salamanders and ravens class's should be reversed.
It should of been Raven Gaurd that Had the Sniper.

Tbh they’ve been making a lot of weird and random choices as of late- like adding the red bolter skin to the auto bolt rifle of all weapons, which already has a DLC skin

very highly polished game with amazing gameplay and the amount of new content they've released in such a short amount of time makes me hopeful that the game is going to be a 10/10 live service within a year or two. It's a strong 8 as it is.

Tyrand was my first army and love 20 years ago,maybe one day i will have a game when i am the one butchering everything and not just being the target. Tyranids have so many various roles individually that could lead to cool gameplay for each species,instead you get pew pew marine and thats it.

If anything Raven Guard should get the champion cosmetic look for sniper class, not Salamanders, save that for heavy class.

Am I the only one that thinks that the Salamander pack should’ve been used for the heavy class and not sniper? I mean their whole thing is about using flamer weapons, so why give this pack to the sniper class?
the pvp is so underated in this game, the lack of maps is the only draw back,
like 3 more maps and advertise it a little more, If your reading this and have not bothered with pvp, its almost perfect imo. assault class is sooooo much more fun in pvp. bulwark is super important, to me it's very balanced but im not an expert in that type of thing.

Liking what I see, can’t help but be confused on the salamander pack dedicating a champion skin to the Sniper? It’s in the lore they DETEST light armor (or at least they think the heavier the better). Seems more sensical to maybe dedicate a sniper champion skin to the raven guard; or almost any other chapter that isn’t as heavy focused as the salamanders are
My theory is that the skin is based off the fact that, on their homeworld of Nocturne, according to lore they were very skilled hunters.

How about bring an extention to the campaign or story
They buffed all the Bolters. The standard bolt rifles semi and auto actually destroy low leven enemies with one shot. You can also gun down a warrior with one mag. Salamander sniper was a miss but everything else is amazing. The gameplay is very much improved. A lot smoother.

I feel like I made the right decision getting this game this week. I am always grateful to the devlopers for working so hard and being so passionate, but please do up the content timeline. There's not enough here to warrant a $70 price tag. I enjoy the PVE instances and admire the game, but I do not want this to get stagnant or boring.. because it looks and feels excellent.
Would this be a great game to start with to get into the series? I know nothing about the lore but I do wanna blast the aliens 😅

I think the argument here is that there is no variety. Yeah the enemies are randomized a bit each game and you don’t know what you’ll see and when you’ll see it. Issue is just the same 6 missions on repeat, think there’s more but I only like fighting xenos to be honest.
It's 8 missions.
Now to pray that the next update they do after if they do it, is chaos costumization update.

Do i have to keep resetting back to Lvl 1 every time i play? and do i have to keep customizing my armor even though i spent an hour on it last time i played? seems like things like to just disappear and made it unfun to keep doing over and over again...
