Palisade peaches are the best of the best, if I buy a flat and I don't have anyone to share it with, I'm eating 28 in two days, no problem. Huge, perfect texture; and in the Fall you can cut them open with a knife, they separate readily from the pit even when fully ripe. Palisade peaches will forever ruin you for other fruit.
Well said! Thanks for sharing. I thought I was the only one with this addiction. They should put warning labels on these peaches. One bag is enough to get you hooked. I’m so relieved to see young people carrying on this tradition in Palisade for the selfish reason of knowing that I can likely sustain my addiction for decades into the future.
Yeah I bought some of these in our grocery store and they're just not that great there's some that are good they're just another average everyday Peach nothing special have a nice day seems to me that about half of them were hard and not very sweet. As a matter of fact I just threw three pitches away this morning
