- The wait is over. Mass Appeal presents the return of #RhythmRoulette.
We took the record flipping and song finessing Take A Daytrip, the duo consisting of Denzel Baptiste and David Biral, over to Amoeba Music in Hollywood, Los Angeles where they selected two random records each to take back to the studio and work their magic. The selection consisted of music by Marvin Gaye, Dan Ryan ft. Jerrald James, Flying Lotus, and Future Assassins. What was next? You know the drill. It was time to chop.

These dudes make some dope hits. The keyboard set up is crazzzy and the fact that they can both play and switch up on the producing side. A lot of talent between these two

Take a Daytrip are great, love their stuff with Cudi on Man on the Moon 3. I’m not surprised that they have so many Moog and Sequential synths in their studio 🔥
The production on MOTM III is so clean. Take a Daytrip, Dot da Genius, and of course Mike Dean made it his best album sonically (at least, it’s my fav overall.
there's one thing I don't understand on Rhythm Roulette, why can't we listen to the final version of the beats entirely ? It's cool to see the process but we need to see the full cake !!!

What I love most about seeing these dude's process is that they're professional, but they know how to have fun. They're in the studio to work, but when they catch a vibe, the energy is infectious. Love seeing that type of stuff out of producers. And these guys have crafted some classics already. Love it.
This beat is so bad though I don't get it it literally sounds like a beat for a commercial or a vlog or something like it's so silly

The way they work as a duo is actually dope, both mad knowledgeable with the instruments as well as the software, really feed well off each other. The way they mixed this live had it sounding craaaazy clean too.

These have always been so amazing to watch. They have fantastic ears for the perfect choices in combining and layering sounds. It's like watching a carpenter do some woodworking that looks so effortless. I'm sooooo glad to see a new Rhythm Roulette and it's a treat to watch the Daytrip guys build off each together 😁

Daytrip are easy top 10 producers in the game right now. They mix technique and rock-solid theory knowledge with feeling and energy and this showed it all. Flipping hard samples while showing arrangement gems and recording notes? Crazy! Way to come back RR! Missed y’all so much. This one was superb. DAYTRIP TAKE IT TO TEN!!!! 🗣

Been following take a day trip for awhile they are fire, love seeing them work
These guys truly earned their success. And you can see they invested so much money back into their business (assuming that's their studio). No crazy jewelry, but crazy music equipment everywhere.

The return! I haven't been to Mass Appeal since they let us down withholding that Big L doc but I am hyped that Rhythm Roulette is back. Never heard of these guys but the work well together and whipped up some gas so kudos to them.
