I thought I have already seen and tried all possible recipes until I have discovered your channel. It is so difficult to find so many incredible vegan recipes at one place. You brought my cooking to a different level and revoke my interested to cooking. Thank you so much for every single video you have posted! You are a very talented chief and such an amazing blogger!! Best wishes to you and your channel!
Patience personified in the oil pour. Magnificent. And 2 new fabulous things in this vid- your fresh haircut and a paring knife we’ve not seen before! Way to mix it up, Wil! 😬
Thank you SO much for this updated recipe. I was really disappointed when I tried making the original recipe and it didn’t turn out at all like yours (very liquid and yellow). With this new video, now I see easily it was my blender speed. I can’t wait to try it again later today🥰
I made this at lunch time today. I didn’t have any dill or Dijon mustard, so I used dried chives and a good grind of Bristol blend pepper instead. I also just used a standard plant-based Mayo. It was absolutely bloody amazing. So delicious! 😋 I’ve had it twice today already 😂. Lush on cold toast with some salad. Going to try it in jacket potatoes with vegan cheese and some salad. Can’t wait! Thank you, Will. Sincerely. Didn’t know how much I’d missed the taste…👏👏👏
Love your work- two excellent recipes! I know you used a whole bottle of healthy avacado oil to make the mayo thick, just like they do for conventional mayo, but if you can get to a health food or gourmet shop you can purchase some guar gum powder or xanthan gum powder and save some of your expensive oil by replacing at least a quarter of it with a pinch of guar gum to help quickly thicken and emulsify and at the same time prevent separation. Guar gum is a minimally processed powder that is procured directly from the bean. I'm looking forward to yout next recipe videos 😊
I never imagined it would thicken to a mayo like that using a full bottle of oil, but that really Looks Delicious! I Seriously want to try this, and the Fresh Dill and Lemon Juice with the Pink Himalayan Salt Really set the whole thing off, and the Cherry tomatoes and onion / green onion sets the taste off perfectly! Yummy! Can not wait to try this soon. I just got the Chickpeas and was wondering what I could try as far as trying something (new). THANKS So much for Sharing!
That really is a large quantity in the end. You can always just use a little less of the aquafaba, lemon, Dijon and chickpeas. Better to waste a little bit of aquafaba than to waste all that oil if you end up not using the mayonnaise. Thank you for the tip about running the Vitamix on medium low so it doesn't separate the next day. I absolutely love your channel. You are very talented.

You are a gift. And sharing all over the place on Facebook et al. Thank you!!!!!
"That's a lot of mayonnaise" - not in my house it ain't. So, I made this from your other recipe and co-sign taking the extra step and heating/cooling the aquafaba. It really makes a difference but either way, super delicious!
I agree with some of the previous comments. I am slowly turning vegan because of you and your cooking. You have done more for the vegan movement than all those people on tv put together, trying to convince me about the benefits for the earth and myself of being vegan…
I’m moving from a room at the Y to an apartment soon. I’ll have my own kitchen so I’ve been collecting yours and other vegan recipes! Can’t wait! “Never eat anything that once had a face!”- James Caan as Jolly In “Kiss Me Goodbye”
I love your instructions and calming way you do your videos. Was disappointed because I thought it was going to be ‘oil free’. Oh well. I’ll try it with my cashew cream mayo.
Young man you are a great vegan cook and I love the way you are inspiring people to cook and enjoy dishes. The only issue I have is why vegans and vegetarians use words like tuna and meat names for their recipes.
Hello, Indulekha. It's for a couple of reasons. First, few of us started out Vegetarian or Vegan, so we are looking for familiar tastes and textures, since most of us didn't hate the taste of animal products, we just realised we didn't want to eat them for various reasons. Second, while hoping to entice perhaps reticent friends and family, who fear trying new foods, or losing out on favourite foods, we describe things in ways we hope will be meaningful to them, and attract their attention. If we simply called this a chickpea salad, or chickpea dip (which is what hummus is), a lot of blissfully ignorant people would just turn their noses up, as if we were offering them garbage, or would assume it was just some kind of hummus. Their ignorance of the amazing flavours we enjoy is coupled with their lowered expectations of Vegan fare, because larger society proclaims our food must be bland, "too healthy," made of sticks and twigs, or grass, etc., on top of being told that all dishes with animal products will taste good, and "won't be that bad" for their health. And that doesn't get into the other hurdles, like believing we will be deficient in nutrients, that we're using more land/resources than they are, and that our lifestyle, which many of us have had for decades, is "just a fad diet." So, you see, getting someone to take just one delicious bite can push past a lot of ignorance and hegemony, and allows them to consider trying more. Of course, many times someone will say, "This doesn't taste like what you said," but they may follow that with, "but I like it." For example, when I described spicy hummus as a Vegan form of nacho cheese dip (even though it's technically closer to bean dip), my husband tried it. He had thought, because he'd tried one brand, one style, they must all be the same, and so he was blown away, and loves it now. He's tried many kinds now, and doesn't recall what it was he disliked. I hope that answers your question, without me having taken too much of your time with my writing. I wish you healthy longevity, and enjoyment of the world of flavours opening up for you.
So this is the first recipe of yours I have tried and I am obsessed! This is my new favorite recipe! I can’t wait to make it for friends and pass along this deliciousness. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next one.

I hope this will be a helpful suggestion: The Ibotta app has had a dollar rebate for Wasa crisps for the past few months. When we do and teach man’s commandments for doctrine, it is vain! It is useless! God does not honor it! There will be no reward!
Again! there is a great possibility some type of “Man made Sabbath Law” could be enforced. These latter days crises seems to be pointing in that direction. If this is not true, then, we do not have to worry about it......But.....
....If it is truth then, we need to become more knowledgeable about this subject in order to make the right decision whom we will honor and serve.
A Sabbath test will reveal those who believe Gods Word and those who do not.
Whether there is or whether there is not a “Sabbath Test”, we still need to know the truth about God’s Time written in the Word of God so we can be obedient in all things.
***Worship Him that made heaven, earth and sea.
***Babylon is fallen! Babylon is fallen!
***Do not worship the Beast and receive his mark, whosoever does, will be eternal lost and be burnt with fire and brimstone.
****Read Revelation 13 & 14
This truth about God’s Calendar/Time and The Sabbath written in Genesis 1:14, Leviticus 23:1-3, Psalms 104:19, etc.is spreading throughout the four corners of the earth.
This message enrages many who claim to be followers of Christ because they can not refute it. It seems, the people outside the church buildings are the ones eagerly accepting it and believing it.
Please let us consider what is being said here and further research this important subject before it is to late.

Chickpea tuna sandwich has replaced my favorite tuna salad sandwich. Thank you for leveling up my go sandwich.

So happy you are here and we are cooking together 🥳 Keep well 🙌🏻
Patience personified in the oil pour. Magnificent. And 2 new fabulous things in this vid- your fresh haircut and a paring knife we’ve not seen before! Way to mix it up, Wil! 😬
Hahaha you noticed 😎 have to keep the spikes fresh. It’s a great paring knife from Zwilling 🙌🏻

Thank you SO much for this updated recipe. I was really disappointed when I tried making the original recipe and it didn’t turn out at all like yours (very liquid and yellow). With this new video, now I see easily it was my blender speed. I can’t wait to try it again later today🥰
👨🏻🍳🙌🏻🤗
I made this at lunch time today. I didn’t have any dill or Dijon mustard, so I used dried chives and a good grind of Bristol blend pepper instead. I also just used a standard plant-based Mayo.
It was absolutely bloody amazing. So delicious! 😋 I’ve had it twice today already 😂. Lush on cold toast with some salad. Going to try it in jacket potatoes with vegan cheese and some salad. Can’t wait!
Thank you, Will. Sincerely. Didn’t know how much I’d missed the taste…👏👏👏
I love another use for chickpeas in this vidoe - I use them as a potato salad/egg salad sandwich filling too - they take spices very well!!
🙌🏻 Great suggestion - I will keep this in mind for next time I make a batch
I never imagined it would thicken to a mayo like that using a full bottle of oil, but that really Looks Delicious! I Seriously want to try this, and the Fresh Dill and Lemon Juice with the Pink Himalayan Salt Really set the whole thing off, and the Cherry tomatoes and onion / green onion sets the taste off perfectly! Yummy! Can not wait to try this soon. I just got the Chickpeas and was wondering what I could try as far as trying something (new). THANKS So much for Sharing!
🙌🏻🥳👨🏻🍳
That really is a large quantity in the end. You can always just use a little less of the aquafaba, lemon, Dijon and chickpeas. Better to waste a little bit of aquafaba than to waste all that oil if you end up not using the mayonnaise. Thank you for the tip about running the Vitamix on medium low so it doesn't separate the next day. I absolutely love your channel. You are very talented.
I couldn't believe you used a whole bottle of the oil. But it is good to know that it lasts for a few weeks in the fridge. Thank you for this recipe!
I ALWAYS learn something new and fascinating when I watch your shows! Thank you! And your voice is so soothing, I could listen to you ALL DAY!
Oh my goodness this homemade mayo and the dip are great what a change for the better. Love it and so fresh. 😮
Wow this is fantastic. I was wondering what I was going to do with the left over chickpeas. Chickpea tuna recipe. I do a lot of cooking and watch a lot of cooking videos. It is not often that I get really excited like I am right now with your recipes and offers. Masterclass Sushi? Wow. I am so looking forward to that.Your mayo and tuna recipe knocked my socks off so I am sure I will love the masterclass. Thank You. This was FUN, it was new, tastes and looks great. You are a super, very engaging, no nonsense, teacher. Thank you for sharing. I printed up your recipes and am handing out to my vegan friends and family for birthday and Christmas presents.

Hi from Spain! We use a little bit of olive oil at the beginning and sunflower oil for the pouring. Delicious!
Again, you did it!!YOU'RE ESPECTACULAAAAAR, AMAZING CHEF!!!I love your tutorials!!
Simplicity and beauty you make cooking a joy . Thank you Will.
I agree! Olive oil for a mayo is really strong. In Spain we use sunflower oil for the mayonesa or for the alioli. (Mayo and garlic mayo!)
OMG! Absolutely, utterly, beautiful to my eyes and taste buds! Thank you so much :-)
😌🙌🏻
Beautiful Wil! Thank you! May Pachamama bless you🙏🏻
I agree with some of the previous comments. I am slowly turning vegan because of you and your cooking. You have done more for the vegan movement than all those people on tv put together, trying to convince me about the benefits for the earth and myself of being vegan…
Wow thank you for making my vegan journey possible simple recipes that I feel confident to do!
This is absolutely delicious! I love chick peas and avocado oil. Thanks Will😋
Se ve deliciosa tanto la mayonesa como el dio. Gracias Will.
Good idea about soy sauce and sesame oil :D Thank you and happy cooking!
I've made the chickpea tuna 2 times now. I am serving it at a barbeque dinner. That means that we really love it. It's fascinating! Thanks!
Wooo! So great 🙌🏻😎
This looks awesome as usual. I love it when I already have all the ingredients in the pantry and garden! Thanks Wil.

All of your recipes are so delicious, and so beautifully presented!!
I pray you are well! Everything you make is looking so mouthwatering all the time! Thank you 😊 ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Great with diced tofu as egg salad sub. As always, fantastic enticement to go to the plant side.
Oh good you do have cookbooks great i will have to get one or both. Thanks
I’m moving from a room at the Y to an apartment soon. I’ll have my own kitchen so I’ve been collecting yours and other vegan recipes! Can’t wait! “Never eat anything that once had a face!”- James Caan as Jolly In “Kiss Me Goodbye”

I have made this same dish with real mayo. It does seam close to like a tuna salad. I will try the mayo that looks like a real winner.
Just made this and it's a winner ,,, thank you
Fab! Try this recipe with added sweetcorn and put in a vegan buttered jacket potato and some pepper. Brilliant.
🤤
That looks absolutely yummy. Will definitely make. Thank you for all your great recipes!!!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Never thought about using aquafaba as a mayonaise base, this is brilliant! :D
I love your instructions and calming way you do your videos. Was disappointed because I thought it was going to be ‘oil free’. Oh well. I’ll try it with my cashew cream mayo.
Today I did the recipe and the result is amazing,Thanks for sharing these recipes 🤙

And that doesn't get into the other hurdles, like believing we will be deficient in nutrients, that we're using more land/resources than they are, and that our lifestyle, which many of us have had for decades, is "just a fad diet."
So, you see, getting someone to take just one delicious bite can push past a lot of ignorance and hegemony, and allows them to consider trying more.
Looks good. I would try to do the previous method that requires the oil. The dip looks great !
❤️💕💖👍👏🏼 your simple and 😋 cooking!
So this is the first recipe of yours I have tried and I am obsessed! This is my new favorite recipe! I can’t wait to make it for friends and pass along this deliciousness. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next one.
🥳🥳🥳
You have the best cooking channel! I love the flavor profiles of all of your recipes.
You are too kind - happy to be cooking together 🙌🏻👨🏻🍳
Am just over the moon after trying this recipe..have you ever tried it with the black salt? It's just yummilicious!
Thank you for sharing such excellent recipes ! 🤗
Yum. I have another chick pea tuna recipe I like but am going to try this! I like the idea of serving on crispbread instead of regular bread.
I hope this will be a helpful suggestion: The Ibotta app has had a dollar rebate for Wasa crisps for the past few months. It also has quite a few other Vegan product rebates (among everything else, from a ton of retailers, including clothes, dining out, etc). In under six years, I've gotten back over $600, almost all of it from groceries, plus a little liquor here and there. My referral code is tmsapnd, if you want to get a sign on bonus of a few dollars with your first rebate (which also gives me a referral bonus).
I have your first 3 cookbooks and got them spiralized st Staples! May have also mentioned that since I rewatch your videos.😊
I have definitely become more adventurous since watching your channel🙂
Can you add the black Indian salt for “egg” salad in a similar recipe? Endless possibilities. 👍
I heard the black indian salt does add the "egg" taste to tofu.
@@miriammanolov9135 definitely worth getting if you want that eggy flavour. The salt is also called kala namak. For maximum flavour it should be sprinkled AFTER you cook the tofu, because the flavour does deminish when the salt is heated, ime.
@@tangerinetangerine4400 wow , thanks !! I have Indian and Japanese stores near my parents home, about 30 minutes away from me. Everytime Wil gets a recipe going, I take notes for ingredients, then go pick up the stuff when I visit my parents 😉 I'm going to add black salt on my list now !!
@@miriammanolov9135 report back! ☺️
Can you recommend a brand of Black Salt, preferably something I could find on Amazon as I know I would NEVER find this here where I live. TIA😎
That’s amazing chef 👍👍👍👍
Thanks,, best cooking channel no faffing around or blah, blah, you get to the recipe and do it like you teaching adults and not children,,,, so thank
Ok,,,,, did we need to watch a blender blending for all that time???????

Yummy will make this soon!!! Love your simple recipes Wil TFS!
Magic...that's why I love ur channel....it's the best .
I wonder if you could substitute lightly steamed sprouted chickpeas for the canned chickpeas to up the nutritional value of the dish? I am definitely going to try the vegan mayo. I like to make mine homemade so I can control what goes in it and this looks awesome.
Gosh I just love this video! Amazing what you can do with chickpeas! The mayonnaise has so many possibilities for sauces and salad dressings. Thank you again. I am learning so much from you💕Cathy
🙌🏻👨🏻🍳🥳
Yummy. I make chickpea tuna a lot. Will try it with soy sauce and toasted sesame oil. Thanks.
I improvised your recipe, used cooked lentils cause I was out of (chickpeas), used Vegan Mayo cause I was lazy. It was absolutely delicious, put on rice cakes. Luv, your recipes & channel 😎
🤤

Very nice recipe chef 👍👌👏. Thank you for your effort 🙏🌞😎. I also at some pumpkin, sunflower seeds and a bit of nutritional yeast 🙌
Step 3: Pour in the oil for half an hour. 😁 I'll test my patience on this one soon. Looks great!
Chosen makes the very best avocado oil. They make a good mayo also but I'm going to try your mayo receipe because it will further reduce the saturated fat content and I also love chick peas. Thank you for these receipes.
Delicious and easy👏👏👏
It worked perfectly. Thank you!!

Nice!! Cant wait to try this.I've been wanting to make my own mayo.
Wil is treasure. Every recipe is spot on.
You are the best!
I have an idea coordinate with some of the local whole foods stores and have a shelf dedicated to your recipes that would be easy for me and for others too!..Another idea put your cookbook on one of the shelves for selling put the whole shebang and one or two shells and away we go!
Thanks for the video! This is my first time being successful in making vegan mayo! Your video taught me that I need to use a lower setting on my blender to achieve the right texture.🤗
So great to hear 🙌🏻😎
Wow, tuna never tasted this good! With the prices of food going up I am happy to find my favorite bean/garbanzo can be used so many ways!
