@@connor-bestname752 Not sure if you care after a whole year, but it's called "How the Realist Hero Saved the Kingdom", or something like that. As someone who actually researches such things as Realist theory vs. Idealist theory, I have mixed feelings about it, but I like how he's using actual geopolitical theory to solve isekai problems instead of just doing whatever and winning with plot armor.

Yeah the political theory of: Farmers are super stupid and continue to grow cash crops when they're in a famine and definitionally that means that edible food is at all time highs so that they need the main character to TELL THEM "maybe grow food instead of cotton"

The novel is quite interesting. Although, I do have to say, regardless of how they purport how a realist the main character is, I couldn't help but feel this is still a fantasy through and through. By that, I mean, you still have all the fantasy isekai tropes. I'll leave you to decide whether that's desirable or not.
The LN is glorious, I mostly saw how realistic the MC was in Volume IV, when he was talking with the mad scientist, it all made sense for a nerd like me but for a regular bureaucrat/historian like the MC he was confused as hell

@@dhelsgade I liked the art style. It's not that good of a show, but I found it enjoyable. It's a generic anime with OP MC, guild, dungeon, and harem. But I feel like watching generic anime sometimes and there are only a limited number of anime with all of these features. I also loved Olivia's voice and dialogues. She has the same voice actor as Koko from Golden Time.

It's about college love life and the voice actors lineup is pretty unique, Makoto Furukawa and Kaito Ishikawa. This show is where they both met for the first time and started working together. Two years later, they working together again as the voice actor for Saitama and Genos
@@dhelsgade I guess I found Golden Time enjoyable. It is undoubtedly great. But it was too serious for me. Kouko's character looked exceptionally cute and beautiful, along with her voice. But I like to avoid triangle romance anime that are too serious. I prefer light hearted comedy.
