This seems hype. Would love to see the full product eventually, I’m an anime fan and I enjoy fighting games like Smash and from what I’ve seen, it screams quality to me. All the best with game development!
As someone who is learning unity rn to develop my own games this is super sick and I'm for sure going to download it one steam rn! Keep up the great work because I can see so much potential in this:)
It's somewhat hard to full explain because usually when people say "Engine" they mean something like Unreal or Unity that has an editor. There is no editor here, so I'll try to be as clear as possible about what I made. When I say "my engine" in the video, I mean the part of the code that simulates inputs, physics, hitboxes, and everything to do with combat. Graphics are handled by a Python library called ursina which also calls itself an "engine", but in a different sense of the word. Hopefully that makes some sense.
Yes, I'm also a music producer (which is why I have a music note next to my name). You can find the background music here: th-cam.com/video/noGKrZddcxU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PD2-jq9uXRttNR5v
I must admit... when I tested 3 different thumbnails and that one did by far the best, I lost a little bit of faith in humanity :( Either way it works out for me tho
Wishlist Blades of Crossed Hearts on Steam or play the demo:

Thank you very much!! Still working hard at it, and hoping to have more to show soon.
Looking great! Can't wait to see where this project goes!
Working on a DMC-inspired single player mode, so hopefully I'll have something from that to show soon!

Why is bros voice so deep?😂😂😂
Lemme just add this game to my wishlist tho
I honestly tried to make it *less* deep, but it's really hard to make it higher unless I'm speaking a lot louder
Looks good, especially love the flashy aesthetics in the menus. Btw did you compose the music in this video? It goes really hard
