- Today I went gold hunting to my favorite river to get under water and snipe for gold nuggets! There Is so much gold in this river I always ask myself why? I don't think it really matters as long as I keep finding gold nuggets! I wholeheartedly support your dream. The panning is the easy part. It's going where no one else has been, and battling the elements for days, and the endless digging that they don't show in the videos. It's a heckuva a dream, though. Free money!

I'm not so worried about panning where other people have before, as they say "there is gold everywhere on the Fraiser River" Saw a recent video from Dan Hurd where he stated that, threw his pan and just dug up some surface material, panned it and sure enough, a few small pieces of gold. Unfortunately I live pretty far from BC, I'm in Quebec but some of the biggest gold mines in North America are located much closer to me. Val d' Or (or Valley of Gold in English) and the surrounding areas even have new large scale gold mines and claims. It's more of hard rock mining but there are many connecting rivers and water flow in the area. I've done quite a bit of research and making out the area with Google maps and marking everywhere, active gold mines, closed ones and anywhere people have found gold around the water ways... Still working on my map and putting information together, it is actually a huge gold belt that runs through Ontario and Quebec. As far as the travel part goes, it's much easier for me than going to BC as it's only a few hours drive to the locations I'm referring. Aside from my time, research and mapping the area, I've also already invested in some equipment, a metal detector and such. Some family as well as myself are avid hobby fishermen so we have lots of gear and chest waiders and stuff like that to camp and fish... Catching some awsome rainbow trout is fun in and of itself but finding some "gold under the rainbows" ✨️🌈 🎣 ✨️ would be amazing... BC one day hopefully! Cheers!

Why diont you make a mini suction hose? Feel like it would be easy to make a small suction rig on a floaty with a go car battery. You could set it up so you would only use it for the cracks where it is tough to get the gold out and have it so the heavy stuff drops off into a jug. Pretty much a shop vac but for gold
