well yes and no, makes it front heavy and it's a fwd car which is already heavy in the front. i'd rather have more balance and less weight. those things are more important than the sound, to me anyway..
I am impressed by how stong the car pulls! But I really wish the fake engine sounds can come to an end. I would rather have a quiet engine sound rather than fake engine sound through speakers. This car sounds like it has an EJ25 🤦🏻♂️
That's because the engine sound does somewhat resemble an EJ25. Listen to the MK3 Focus RS which has the same engine as this but without the fakery. To clarify: I fully agree with you about removing fake engine sound, I'm just pointing out that in this case it mostly amplifies what's already there. This is one of the least offensive examples of fake engine sound. If you wanna hear a truly blasphemous example, listen to the Mustang Ecoboost, sounds like a V8 inside 😂 That one's absolute heresy.
@@xIcarus227 EJ25 is a boxer engine though and the rumble comes from unequal length headers. I believe the Mk3 RS still used a normal turbocharged inline 4 engine. What bothers me is that the fake sound and the actual intake and exhaust sound does not sound the same. It's all down to preference, some will like it and some won't. I just prefer having a pure natural sound entirely... even if its quiet.
@@highstreetkings7528 All down to preference mate. I dislike fake sounds through the speakers. It's not natural and pure. If you like it then good for you 👍🏻
@@drivingparadise totally agree with you. That's why I'm coding out that fakery on my car the first chance I get, even if it's only in sport mode (or at least that's what it sounds like). Also, I think the RS has unequal length headers as well if I remember correctly. That's why it doesn't sound like most other 4cylinders.
You forgot to put the Sport Mode (or even better the Track Mode). Engine is a bit more powerful at high rev with those modes, and there are more pops and bangs.
The Mk4 Focus ST is so underrated.
Great video!
You're an awesome driver, always a pleasure to watch your new videos ! Keep it up and greetings from France ✊
Greetings from Turkey 🌹
As
The car has a Sportmode, it’s much more sporty and more aggressive, the Exhaust is louder and does Pops and Bangs, everything is more like a Beast
Can‘t understand why he didn‘t use it
No bullshit, no words ... just driving and the car sound/voice. Great 👍😄
I always find it easy to concentrate in this type of car.
What a rocket car!! Congrats from Portugal!💪
Great sounds👍
You forgot to change to Sport or Racing Mode while the Sound check. 🤣
At 6,500rpm the pistons have a speed of 20.3m/s, that's pretty impressive.
How did you calculate that?
That is an average speed, calculate speed when the piston is in the middle of a stroke, that will be more impressive.
Dude, it's really awesome how you managed to look like it's a game in first person.
Love this car sounds amazing
Great car, perfect manual gearbox. What a shame it still is not 5-cylinder engine.
These times are definitely over my friend! It’s a wonder that they still sell the Mustang V8 in Europe!

Great video as always 🙌
Please test Renault Megane RS 2018 Trophy!
Very nice driving
Love the yellow
Good driving skills
You 're a perfect driver 👍👍👍
Jedna z nejzajímavějších variant na trhu, jaké už brzy nebudou k mání. Jen škoda těch opičáren se zvukem.
I liken this brand to BMW, its driving characteristics are pure and sporty.
Performance like formentor plug-in
And that's how boys get their first car, kids.
I like new video. I very like the Ford. Good!😀😉

You can't do 7,9L/100km i can swear that
Realistic average in around 9,5 L/100km.
7.9 is achievable only with granny driving.
@@lordofkiwi5144 exactly, i own one and its usually 9,5-10L
@@ardienn Nice, this is fairly good. I own a Mk.3.5 and i'm also at 9,5 but with 30bhp less.
5:52 Hell Nah! I can hear that loud ass ticking. Injectors don’t sound that damn loud. Bet it’s the PCV valve. I’ll stick to my 2.0L
Yeah, it sounds like it needs oil in it or something
That's the injectors noise

It sounds better than you think.

Waited for this one, Nice video man!
Will they make an RS version for this new st, like the old one with 350 HP?!
Sadly not…Ford already said, that they have to cancel it because they can‘t reach the emission goals 😕
I think I'll keep my MK2 forever.
Geht mir genauso 👍👍. Der 5 Zylinder ist einfach nur fantastisch 👌👌👌
I love the colour
Great as always
