Excellent. Some very cool stuff there. I went to the Central Florida Railroad Museum, in Winter Garden, this year. Very interesting. Plenty of memorabilia from all of the railroads that served Florida over the years. It is a nice place to check out. Either way, a fine video, as always.
Well that looks awful familiar! I visited Gulf Coast about 20 years ago, the stock's obviously changed but the layout of the shop looks pretty much the same. Anyway, I bought four Lionel milk cars while there and was going to treat them as carry-on baggage flying home. As such I had them in two paper shopping bags froma local Publix supermarket. Needless to say I got pulled off to the side by the TSA people at the airport to inspect the bags and this is what happened: "Wow, are those Lionel trains?" Some more TSA officers overheard and came over to see what was going on, then this ensued: "I had Lionels when I as a kid!" "I didn't think they made them anymore!" "My grandfather had those!" "Where'd you get them?" We were actually having fun (I pulled two out of the boxes) but I REALLY had to get on the plane so they cleared me through after I told them where I got them. I suppose Gulf Coast got some new customers shortly! Thanks for bringing us along Ray! Oh, did you get anything?
@@RaysTrains Hi Ray! Back when I visited Gulf Coast that was really the only place around. My parents had retired to Estero FL and I was down for a visit. I'd heard of Gulf Coast so Dad and I took a drive up there, about an hour on the road. There's a couple of shops in the Fort Meyers / Estero area now.
"Too much stuff, not enough space." Hey let me tell you, I like a well-ordered train shop as much as anyone, maybe more so, but sometimes you can find some really good deals in shops that look like a bomb went off inside! 🤩
Awesome video Awesome interesting model train shop 👍🏻💫💫💫💫💫
visited there 3 times in the past few years. Good guys , good shop!
Nice Csx box cars 👍 nice tour Ray

NICE VID RAY, I SAW THAT YOU WAS DRAWN TO THE CSX PIECES. 😄🙂
Another brilliant shop/store. Loved the wee voice asking "can I buy something?" Classic! 😀 I wonder who that was?🤔🇬🇧
