My personal favorite hobby store, bar none! Well over half of my collection has come from there at this point. Excellent staff, with a wide variety of stuff, though I especially like their large selection of used equipment, something not every hobby store does!
And I Actually Have A Hobbie Shop In My Home Been Doing Trains Over 30yrs I Have Only New Trains & Rolling Stock & Accessories. I carry Mth Premier- Lionel legacy- Visionline...Rolling Stock - Mth Premier- Weaver - Kline Scaled Cars- Lionel ..
First visit to Train Station was around 1979 on a visit to Columbus. Seems they had more stock back in the day compared to my last visit in 2023. My only complaint was on the last visit no one else was in the store......but I was never even spoken to.....ODD.
I grew up in Columbus and was a regular there in my late teens (I’m 56 now). I remember when one of the employees was planning and building the HO layout that is STILL in the store window! (back around 1988) That place is like a time capsule to me, like a walk back in time to my teen years. I love that it hasn’t changed a bit! Still have all the Athearn, Atlas and Roundhouse rolling stock that I bought there and got all my Kadee couplers there to convert my horn hook couplers. Bought stacks of magazines from there too.
It's a great store, been shopping there for decades. I like to support the small shops. They almost always have what I'm looking for. Definitely THE best train store in central Ohio.
If you pause the video you can see some of the prices. Or call the store and ask how much they are charging for item. I’m just trying to show what the store had on the shelves. Thanks for watching
I went in there yesterday. Loved the store. Nice selection for N scale, coo HO scalel layout, but didn't buy anything because as a young person with not a lot of money I have to be extremely selective about price. (edit: it was actually HO scale not n scale oop)
Hello Joe, I wish we would have talked, I love to meet people who are in the hobby. It’s a great shop and all the things that they have. Thanks for watching!
No problem it was fun! I love train shop better than shopping online. Hopefully you saw more than 6 seconds of HO in his shop!!! 😂 thanks for reaching out and thank you for watching!!!

It's a nice shop to browse and see new products , but rather expensive compared to other places. So I don't buy anything from there.
Another great video Chris. I see you added another nice Conrail car to your collection.
Thanks Corey! One can’t have too many Conrail trains or rolling stock. Lol
Saw you filming this. I used to live down the road and visited often. I was back in town for the weekend and had to stop by for a visit.
