I think the best album from Running Wild was Black Hand Inn, but that is just up to taste

One of the best songs from Running Wild. I love it. Now you have to react to Iced Earth - Black Flag. Amazing "pirate theme" song. The official video is one of the best clips ever made in Metal.
This album is my favorite among their albums, so many great tracks! \m/
Bass player Jens Becker is amazing. I have listened the band since 1986...
It's definitely a great song and a party stomper however there's better songs that show their melodic prowess and diverse, powerful riffs better. "Genesis(The making and fall of man)", "Lions of the sea" and "Blazon Stone".
If you ever come back to Running Wild you should definitely check them out. Maybe they won't blow you away but their kickass energy, epic solos and their endless sea of badass riffs are the reason they're one of my favorite groups. Great storytellers like Iron Maiden.
I came here from your RetroWave video. A super awesome SynthWave/ChillWave track that I HIGHLY recommend is HOME - Resonance. Even though it doesn't have lyrics, it has been my favorite song for the past few months. It is super a e s t h e t i c and nostalgic; takes me on a journey.
But if you prefer a song with singing, FM-84's "Running in the Night" is fire AF too.
Just some suggestions to consider. ;)

Holly smokes, it is really interesting for me that you haven't heard the Running Wild as they are like legends in my country, but i don't know most of the bands that you are into it as well, so probably is not that strange :) . Anyway unfortunately they don't play live anymore ,but if they do another tour and if they come to Bulgaria i will go to the scene with a ship and sword :D lol

check out "Diabolic" by Demons and Wizards, It's Hansi from Blind Guardian with Jon Schaffer from Iced Earth, came out just a few days ago!

I guess you don't enjoy the song that much is because now they're not original, lots of bands do this kind of metal, but hey're from the mid 80s so they were incredible back then and influenced most of the new power metal bands, expecially german bands like Metalium, Messenger
Except the instrumental song which is really weak imho, ALL other songs of this album are great... some better than this one... like Tortuga Bay, Bad to the Bone, Battle of Waterloo...
Hey man! Maybe listen to Dragonmen or the Battle of Waterloo from Running Wild, These are Far superior Songs
crap, here we go again. there is no pirate metal. it is simply Heavy Metal.
All Band about Pirates are Heavy or Powermetal!
Oh my God the drumming is terrible but the song is Great.
NOT the best album from this album.
The album has a really weak instrumental song... all other songs are great... specially three songs in sequence: Marooned, Bad to the Bone and Tortuga Bay.
It's an awesome album in general. Just skip the instrumental.
