The frizz used to bother me, but I've gotten used to it, especially since I now go months between retwists. What's crazy is that I get the most compliments when my hair is frizzy lol!
Yes I agree with you there is noting you can do but to embrace and love the frizz, your fighting a losing battle. Took me a while but now I don't mind it at all gives my hair character!
My struggles but after 3 years I've totally embraced the frizz. It's annoying when people tell me about getting s retwist or using waxes to make the retwist "last". But what people fail to understand is the softer your hair is it will happen regardless. I find silk or satin scarfs work great andddd it makes my edges look wavy and laid down nicely. Great video 👍🏽
Thank u for the honest. I’m black Filipino and Chinese and I have Locs and the frizz is there 3-4 days later after a professional retwist. I would try to retwist myself trying to get that clean look. But I can’t, just do to the lack of patience doing it myself. I would get disappointed at times and wonder how I can prevent the frizz. But I like how you made a negative into a positive attitude of acceptance.
True true... I learned to accept this from the early days. Nearly 8 years in and still fuzzy. Its also about your hair texture the softer it is the more frizz.
Thank you so much. My frizz is something I'm dealing with into my 3rd and 4th month journey. My hair is curly so as of now my starter locs look like a wash and go style but ridiculously frizzy! I'm maintaining my hair with interlock method. Anywhoo 💁🏾♀ thank you for letting me know that frizz is apart of the journey!
Thanks for posting I feel my LOCS look a Sexy rare times they look like I want too cut em and start over. Cause of the fizzes so I'm glad you posted this I'm embracing what I have

Couldn't of said it better myself. ..Our hair is unique and we should be proud and embrace what the good lord gave us....:-)
I'm so glad that you told the truth instead of making up some concoction or a way to keep your hair down like these other locks vloggers are doing

Hi, did you make a parting line in your head before you locked your hair or started your hair?
what the products u use for retwist?
great video.
mine do this also.
You freeform and that omg no frizz! It’s so easy
But how do u control frizz on the loc itself, not the root?
I don't have that issue nut I hear a technique call lock smithing is what you do to help that. If I find more info I'll share it with you.
How often do you retwist?
About every two-three weeks when I wash my hair
Just in brace the frizz and grow your hair
you need a trim thats coming from a professiona; locktician
Zani Flowers 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ that's the last thing she need to do
