Harry and Paul are obviously brilliant guys. Funny as hell. The only talents I would compare them to in the US are Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, Joe Flarety from the old SCTV show. I think those guys are from Canada though.
I love both Sophies and Catherine's performances in the saw you coming sketch, both are smoking hot and very talanted, especially love the rude character Sophie does so well, so much so I feel sorry for listeria (although id pop in there every day if Giselle spoke to me like that) well done ladies. Top performances throughout the series.
Nearly twenty years later and this is still utterly top tier comedy. Amazing how well the race references have held up; back then Walliams and Lucas were doing horrific blackface and yet Harry and Paul were so perfectly aware of how to treat this issues properly

It showcases their character work, which is considerable...but is a little shy on jokes/laughs. Which sucks to say, because I do have a great affection for them, especially Paul. Still, the actor Kevin Eldon as George Martin is worth it.

I think you're supposed to think they're looking at something through a window, or something similar. That's what I originally thought, then I realised halfway through that they were probably at a urinal, so I don't know if I was late or early to realise that. The shot of them washing their hands feels like a punchline reveal.
OMG I love the 'I Saw You Coming' sketch - 'I am reading a book'. I remember these shows, most people only remember Harry and Paul from the 90s but these sketches were absolute genius. I reckon because the fucking BBC believed Enfield wasn't 'left-wing' enough they stuck this series on at 9.30 on BBC 2, so not many people saw it.
